Contrast this to the cold shoulder and cries from the usual politicians in America who called North Koreas play in the Olympics nothing but a "charm offensive"
I don't care if North Korea is faking it. Talking is always better than a war. A war America has been goading for and wanting for a long time. America needs to suck up its ego, withdraw and not give the North Koreans any reason to have the damn nukes in the first place.
The simple fact is Americas typical establishment does not want peace on the Korean peninsula. They would lose their relevance to have tens of thousands of troops on the border. Honestly, if I were the president of South Korea, I would tell America to piss off. Their tactics and their troops stationed there haven't ended the war (they are technically still in) for nearly 70 years. It is impossible to reunify or for the North to consider serious friendship or a formal end to hostilities with them around and that is Americas plan and reason for being there.
If Trump can tone his dumb jokes and stupid blustering on this, and not being the 'usual' politician, maybe we could see progress. He has the opportunity, more so than any other President has. Whether or not he takes advantage of it, is up to him
I still think little Rocket Man is a dick though.
