but these are signs he is an alpha and not afraid.
Cringe.

The guy has lived heavily protected for his entire life. He probably doesn't even understand what danger is.

All first world countries are protected like that...what do most people do when danger comes? They run the other way or freak out.

Even in 3rd world countries the majority of people do the same. Only the minority goes towards the issue.

Also, on the subject of what the majority would do. Just from watching videos, to me it seems as a populous in a whole... Russians seem to be the most fearless people as a majority. They run towards danger, they help people, they will fight people off even if it has nothing to do with them etc...I have always been impressed with that.

Example, there was this show I can't remember what it was called but they were doing pranks. They were fake kidnapping someone, there was a trap door in the car so the lady could escape, so when the trunk was opened no one was there. They did it many times in the states, people ran from it, stared did nothing, filmed it etc etc..

6 months later they did the same thing when they traveled to Russia for one of their live shows.. They could do it once, they were stopped every time when they grabbed the woman, even hurt one of the actors. This always impressed me.

That wasn't really the point I was trying to make. For Trump, there either never was any threat or when there was, he probably had a bodyguard to keep him from harm, like most extremely wealthy/famous people do. His father was also rich, so I'm not quite sure if he also had a guy running behind him when he was a kid too, I know wealthy people who do that for their own kids now, I don't know how common it was back then. So I find it kind of silly talking about what he'd do in the hypothetical scenario he was in actual danger and there wasn't anyone to save him. And if you're running towards the issue even without being able to help, that's not brave. It's either stupid or you don't know what danger is because you're used to everything being safe.

I pay more attention than most people give me credit for, I didn't mean it as a personal attack, just an observation.

I'm very sorry for what happened to Greece, you know the bankers I so often call out are responsible for the economy?
Yes, it was a combination of that and dumping a lot of the money we loaned from the EU on nonsense.

Vlad sounds like he's gone full retard. Well, you guys have a President that wanted better relations with your neighbour but he has been blocked from doing so at every turn. Well done. Now your neighbour has built better weapons and defences while you argue about how many genders should be recognised or some misspelled word on Twitter. Well done libs.

That's when you were bitter enemies though with little (at the time) prospect of getting better. We've had both leader recently signal a desire for better relations after Obama finally left. Had a great opportunity when Hillary was defeated but the libs seem to want to vilify Russia and make them pay for shit that's not worth making them an enemy that wants to incinerate your country.

Explain how any of that is Americas business. This is no longer about Syria. It's a pansy proxy war. If America pulled out and let Russia and Assad do their thing, you would get to a resolution much quicker. Not this perpetual stalemate.

Remember when this shit first started our governments were all rooting for these rebels? Well, what happened with that? We gave weapons to and trained and they turned into ISIS. That is on us (the west). Everything we touch in the middle east turns to shit. We should just stay out. Is Turkey invading Syria to seize its land and expand its borders? or is it trying to sure up shit around its borders to protect itself after America and its allies fucked it all up

Tell me honestly

Has anything the rebels (which we support) done made anyones life any better?

All that death and destruction is on them. Assad is a dick, but had they just left it alone from the start and not gotten so violent (and we not offer them weapons and hope) we wouldn't have this mess. But of course, America doesn't want peace. It wants long drawn out wars.

Why are we murdering thousands in the middle east but when it comes to Ukraine the best we can do is token sanctions and weasel words?

USA no longer a major player doesn't excuse their creation of ISIS and the fact they are still in there.

VETO power is stupid. It defeats the purpose of a council.

Wanting democracy is a nice enough goal. It doesn't need the utter destruction of a country with hundreds of thousands of people to die and millions more displaced to do it. Sorry, but the Middle East is stuck with their backward autocracies and if change is going to happen, it has to come from within and from the top itself. We can ask Libya how removing a bastard leader has worked for them.... Or Iraq....

There is no change from within. If you could learn to read in context, the only way Syria could change from its current autocratic style to democratic style would be political. As in, Mr Assad would have to willingly give up a lot of power and give it to the people. This hasn't and probably will not happen so WTF are you on about when you ask what I think change from within is working or not....

Did you watch the Aljazeera article I linked to?

The Syrian civil war originated with the brutal way the Assad regime put down the pro-democracy movement.   The change started from within.

If anyone is responsible for lighting the fire, it's the Assad regime.
