Can I ask a question? If you got enough flimbams, what would you do?

Man, the times have changed. Was working with computers or meeting your spouse online really such a novel concept back in 2005?

Hi! Also, zeteticism may not be the greatest thing to base your life on, but it's nice that you have a hobby.

Just finished Jasper Jones, by Craig Silvey. Some really intense stuff.

Meh. I would recommend Frankenstein for any English Lit fan. Not the first edition, but the second edition.

I enjoyed the hell out of the first edition, though the language is pretty archaic.

I'm currently reading the first edition of Moby-Dick or The Whale by Herman Melville. It's an absolute slog though enjoyable none the less.

That wouldn't make sense from a storytelling perspective.  I'm pretty sure that Ulfric was deliberately designed to be a compelling and charismatic figure, especially when compared to the stuffy and awkward Tullius.  Now, if Walken were voicing him, then we could have gotten our giggles in without compromising the story.
Are you telling me Christopher Walken is not a compelling and charismatic man, born a natural leader?

I'll just throw out the question, why do any of the isolationists in this thread actually care if you're not bothered by other cultures and "lol phenotypes?" You're not going to contribute to much and you're not going to see the changes that ARE made to their full potential in your relatively tiny lifespans. Who cares what culture "wins?"

We are animals so our behavior shouldn't surprise anyone. We should also not try to think too highly of ourselves as we are instinctual beings. I personally love mixed babies- they're friggen adorable. But I prefer my men pasty white. Although Chinese boys can be quite lovely as well.

We're not suggesting that we as a species should think highly of ourselves and everything will be fine. We want to act appropriately. If there is no moral or ethical reason for "preserving the Caucasian people" or whatever isolationist bull an opponent to multi-culturalism wants to use to describe their isolationist utopia, then we should not do it. And to be quite frank, I'd love to be shown a reason or two.

I generally don't dig the short hair on women, however you are an exception. You pull off the look. Then again, someone as beautiful as yourself could probably pull off any look. :*

Is it any surprise that I feel the opposite? I mean, no offence to rooster, because lord knows I don't need to be offensive to tick her off, and she's not a bad looking broad, but there's something off about it. I dunno. The Leeloo look was better, lol.

No it isn't. It's a well known fact that all of that is just hearsay and urban myths. Except for the part about the pubs, because that's all true. You Brits get stabby when you're drunk.

Why would you need that? The Scottish are nationalistic, not violent. Well, unless you tell him in a pub. The gun won't help you there, unless you can use it as a shield against the broken beer glasses hurled at you from every corner at the same time.

Why is this thread being presented as an either/or contest? Text is very useful, but it's been around for a long time, and most people still feel a desire or need for verbal communication. I have no doubt that txting is better than not texting, but it doesn't come at the expense of talking. I doubt people today really text more and talk less; rather they simply text. It helps us to communicate more than we could if we just spoke.

I'm not sure that the entirety of the conversation in the thread has been about texting as rather than written communication in general, but I know at least I and some other people have said that there are pros and cons to both alternatives.

While this is just anecdotal evidence and thus invalid and irrelevant, a Dutch friend of mine always says he's from Holland, even though he isn't.

England and the rest of the UK is the same thing in the eyes of foreigners. And you Englishmen have nobody to blame for that but yourselves.

Sure. Octopus-inspired Japanese tentacle porn has been found that dates back to the 1500s or so, I think. It was pretty damn old, at any rate.

People should be more like dogs, they only obsess over sex when they are in heat.

I'm not sure, but I think that may only apply to bitches. Also, our ability to breed throughout the year is one of the things that made us biologically successful since we can be as versatile as possible with it.

No, it definitely applies to the male (the obsession). My dog, Mr Bill, looses his mind for about two weeks every year when the neighbor's dogs are in season. THE BITCHES.

Oh yeah, what I meant was that if he encountered any other bitches in heat (lol, bitches in heat), he would probably go as nuts from that, no matter what time of year it is. Unless all bitches enter heat at the same time. I'm really not a dog person, so I have no idea.

Then how is it irrelevant to compare the tone of a good book to the tone of a good oration or movie?

That's not misspelling. However, you can't mispronounce words when you write. Unless you write phonetically.

I liked the nudes you posted. It's a shame they had to remove them because your pics caused a massive bandwidth leak from the influx of traffic.
