I haven't seen anything that makes me believe so, no.

There again there is always exploitation. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/apr/19/ukrainian-workers-flee-modern-slavery-conditions-on-uk-farms

Me either.

Our farmers do that to the Vietnamese here now.

It's a terrible situation, I'd never deny that. I'd just prefer diplomacy to total war between America and Russia. Unfortunately Ukraine would have to make some concessions to end the war any time soon. Again that's not a moral argument just a practical one.

The movies don't do the book justice. Especially in terms of Boxer the horse.
Of course. He tells that anarchy eventually evolves into monarchy. But the republic may not revert to the monarchy if it is really well planned. However, this is still in the hands of the administrator. Humans, or rather creatures, always have a sense of being led by someone, consulting an expert. I guess it's a feeling of inferiority that comes with being created. That is to say, creatures in general cannot get over this and assimilate that they do not need to be directed, and that they do not need to be ruled, each of them as an equal individual. Need to work on this. In fact, all creatures need is self-confidence, and the ability to be an equal partnership without relying on anyone else. Is it easy? No. Is it achievable? Yes. The problem here is not Napoleon's ill will. Others feeling compelled to choose between Napoleon and Snowbal. Then, whether Trump is elected or Biden is elected, the result will not change. The solve, it lies in understanding that this choice is not mandatory. But it's big business.

It doesn't change the outcome if the Americans or the Russians win. The question is why do we need a force to protect us. We are the ones who made Russia Russia, to protect us from the Americans. And we are the ones who make the USA USA, to protect us from Russia. Yet we created them both, and in fact we give our freedom to protect ourselves from ourselves. It's not necessary actually.

I'd just prefer diplomacy to total war between America and Russia.
They will never fight, but they can pretend to fight. The US regularly reminds Zelenski once in a month on average that he can flee to the US. Even the Russians didn't remind him that much. US wants Ukraine to lose as much as Russians want. Because when the Russians win, the USA will also win.

And then, they can share the riches of Ukraine at the drinking table.

In addition, Russia is the key to US global dominance. Countries equip themselves with US weapons to protect themselves from the (so-called) threat of Russia, they become allies of the US economically and militarily, in a way they turn into its colonies. Without Russia, the USA would lose all its global power. That's why this never happens. They are two secret allies, playing games. The US may even be underhand helping Russia win the war. But the rhetoric is not like that, quite the opposite. Everything is a lie, everywhere is a trick, everything is fake.

They show people the Ukrainian war and make it natural for dozens of people to die every day, and on the other hand, they try to stage a coup in Iran. Everything about them is fraudulent, isn't it? That issue also needs to be addressed.

If you listen to Khomeini, he says that the US and Russia are equally evil, but they are currently fighting against him because the US is fighting them. I repeat, what does Khomeini say? : "USA and Russia are equally Devil". Iran's supreme leader views the US and Russia as equally bad. But what does the press write? That Iran is helping Russia. The Western (US) media is making this up to openly fuel hostility towards Iran.

I was about to go to bed.

This sounds like fun.
Who do you guys think the nation-state actor will be?

I think I can guess.

I'll have to find out tomorrow morning. Hopefully we won't already be at war.

So Ukraine is a nation full of nazi lgtbtq+ Satanists who will force your children to attend gay pride parades.

Interesting reporting from Moscow Times.  Sad stuff.

Ten days after being mobilized into the Russian army, Igor Puchkov was killed fighting in southern Ukraine’s Kherson region. The 27-year-old father of two was sent into combat with no military instruction beyond what he had received during his compulsory military service as a teenager, according to relatives.

“We were outraged when he was sent to Ukraine with no training,” his sister-in-law Svetlana Puchkova told The Moscow Times in a phone interview.

“He was promised two weeks of military exercises, but they were only given 30 bullets — they shot once and that was it.”
Mounting evidence of ill-equipped Russian conscripts deployed to Ukraine with almost no military training has sparked bafflement and anger among friends and relatives who spoke to The Moscow Times about the experiences of their loved ones.

Puchkov, from the large Siberian town of Minusinsk, was among hundreds of local men who received draft papers immediately after President Vladimir Putin announced a “partial” mobilization at the end of last month. Prior to his call-up, Puchkov’s only time in the Armed Forces had been one year of compulsory military service that he completed in 2015.

Puchkov’s widow must now care for their two children, aged three and five years old, on her own.
“He’s gone and she’s left without money, without anything,” Puchkova said. “He was always with a smile on his face, always joking. We don’t even know how he died.”

Perception management.

Everyone knows that the Russians will not be defeated by a war. But for some reason they are setting Ukraine on fire.  Come on, we have to give peace a chance, and the way to do it is to change the perception about Russians.

The perception has changed. People used to fear the Russian army. We thought they were strong. Now we see them as weak. Poorly funded, barely trained and so ill equipped they carry their girlfriends tampons for first aid. Oh yeah and now they are down many dozens of tanks and aircraft

Putin's an autocratic dictator who doesn't give an F. It's a war of attrition. Just throw lots and lots of bodies at the problem

Thing he doesn't seem to get though is Ukraine has tens of millions he's put in a 'fight or die' situation. And his own army doesn't give a rats about being there to fight

There's a few possible reasons.  Russia is on the defense currently.  Defense is easier.  It doesn't require nearly as much skill as offense.  They're currently moving out the experienced Russian soldiers from Kherson and replacing them with new conscripts for example.

I don't think it's going to work but I think that might be there reasoning.

Ummm...  Isn't the point of defense to hold on to the territory that you have?  The experienced Russian troops don't seem to be doing that very well right now.  I doubt that new conscripts are going to do a better job.

There's also little emotional attachment for Russians to the area they have captured and a lot of emotional attachment for Ukrainians that want it back.

Here in Britain we've been loving the way Russia has been treating us like a major world power.  It's been a real ego boost.  They make out like we are all James Bond.

They also said we had the same team actually in Ukraine coordinating the drone attack on Sevastopol.  Which makes no sense.  For a start, I really don't think the Ukrainians need any help operating drones or carrying out sophisticated attacks.  They will be the ones training other armies up by this stage.
