I was on a train between Aswan and Luxor during Ramadan. It had the annoying seat configuration where half the rows are pointed one way, and the other half the other way. That left me sitting directly across from a Muslim who was reading his qur'an. He wanted to kill me. He alternated between getting all worked up reading the qur'an, and then staring at me with clenched, grinding teeth as his chest heaved with ragged breaths of pure rage. We spent the entire train ride like that.

After reading the qur'an myself, I understand why he would want to butcher an infidel pig-dog like me. As verse 8:55 says, "Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve". Poor man, having to share a rail car with a creature lower than a slug.

How did he know you weren't a Muslim?

Allah does not forbid you as regards those who did not fight you on account of faith, and did not expel you from your homes, that you do good to them, and deal justly with them. Surely Allah loves those who maintain justice.  [Al-Mumtahana, 8]

Allah does not forbid you as regards those who did not fight you on account of faith, and did not expel you from your homes, that you do good to them, and deal justly with them. Surely Allah loves those who maintain justice.  [Al-Mumtahana, 8]

The qur'an has 6,236 verses, and there are about 4 or 5 at the most that sound peaceful. They are greatly outnumbered by such as these:

- 2:190 "Fight in the cause of Allah".
- 2:191 "And slay them ... slay them".
- 2:192 "Fight with them".
- 2:216 "Fighting is prescribed for you".
- 2:218 "those who ... fought (and strove and struggled) in the path of Allah".
- 2:224 "So fight in God's way".
- 2:264 "give us victory over the disbelieving people".
- 8:12 "Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them".
- 8:17 "And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them".
- 8:39 "fight them".
- 8:41 "whatever ye take as spoils of war, lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah, and for the messenger".
- 8:65 "O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight".
- 3:143 "And certainly you desired death [martyrdom in battle]".
- 3:145 "in their fight for the cause of God".
- 3:146 "grant us victory over the unbelievers".
- 3:152 "when you slew them by His permission".
- 3:157 "And if you are slain in the way of Allah or you die, certainly forgiveness comes from Allah".
- 3:158 "Whether you die or are killed, unto Allah you will be gathered".
- 3:167 "Come now, fight in the way of God".
- 3:169 "Think not of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead".
- 33:16 "Flight will not avail you if ye flee from death or killing".
- 33:18 "Allah knows those among you who come not to the fight".
- 33:20 "They [Hypocrites] would not fight except for a little".
- 33:26 "some you [Mohamed] killed"
- 33:61 "wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering".
- 4:71 "Believers, march [to battle] in small groups or all together".
- 4:74 "Those who want to buy the life hereafter with this life should fight for the cause of God".
- 4:75 "And what is wrong with you [Hypocrites] that you fight not in the Cause of Allah".
- 4:76 "Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of Satan. Fight therefore against the friends of Satan".
- 4:77 "when the fighting was ordained for them ... they say: 'Our Lord! Why have you ordained for us fighting?'".
- 4:84 "Then fight in Allah's cause ... and rouse the believers".
- 4:89 "seize them and slay them wherever ye find them".
- 4:91 "seize them and slay them".
- 4:94 "go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah".
- 4:95 "Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) ... to those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah".
" Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight".
"Those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home)".
- 4:110 "Forsake your home in the cause of Allah".
- 4:104 "Relent not in pursuit of the enemy".
- 47:4 "So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike their necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them ...".
"God could have taken vengeance upon them, but (He ordered armed struggle) to test some of you ...".
"Those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds".
- 47:20 through 47:23 "when a precise surah is revealed and fighting is mentioned therein, you see those in whose hearts is hypocrisy looking at you with a look of one overcome by death... when the matter (preparation for Jihad) is resolved, then if they had been true to Allah [by fighting], it would have been better for them".

- 61:10 through 61:13 "Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty? You shall believe in Allah and His Messenger, and struggle hard in Allah's way with your property and your lives. He will admit you to Gardens. and other things you love, help from God and a nigh victory".
- 48:16 "You shall be called against a people possessed of great might to fight them".
- 48:19 "And much booty they will capture".
- 48:20 "Allah has promised that you will receive much booty".
- 48:29 "Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers".

I also don't have a 'holier-than-thou' prayer bruise. Whenever you see a Muslim who has given himself a permanent bruise on his forehead, you know you're looking at a fundamentalist who wants the world to know he presses his head hard into the floor five times a day. Can I get an alhumdulillah?

I'm just asking.  You seem like a bit of an obsessive prick, so it could be that you just have that affect on people in general.

Then again I had a Muslim put a cutthroat razor to my neck the other day - the incident ended with me giving him money.  This has been happening roughly every 6 weeks for years as well.  However I  did get a clean shave out of it and he even gave me a cold beer before hand.....

Much of the false news about Muslims in the media is believed by ignorant people

ISIS is the same as created and controlled by the Zionists. ISIS fighters are provided with a plentiful free "all weapons" to create evil monsters beyond imagination. They return to ISISRAHELL for medical treatment.
They kill Muslims and non-Muslims
Many extremists are armed from the West

    Therefore
Islam has nothing to do with these false accusations

the familiar fact of Washington's unwavering support for Israel in the diplomatic arena, at what sometimes seems to come at a heavy cost to America's interests. And there were threats against those in Washington who opposed Israeli policies: senators and representatives sent to defeat, like Charles Percy and Paul Findley, for defying the Jewish lobby

Osama Bin LadenFormer US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said earlier that $ 8 billion was used to create the Taliban and wage proxy wars against Russia.

The verses of jihad in Islam have a context and Muslims do not attack people
• The Muslim fights only the one who fights him.
There are also verses of jihad in the Bible, but they are in an ugly way

the verses of the sword found in the Bible. Christian missionaries blame Islam
We are going to recall them to their good memories and list THE verses of the sword found in the Holy Book, inspired, let us remember, by the Holy Spirit, who is one with JESUS du N.T. the God of Love.
When it comes to talking about the violence of the sacred texts, the hypocrisy is brought to a head by Christians. Their doctrine claims that their book is filled with Love, that their teachings are filled with Love, and that their divinity is Love. Now we will see the myth behind this design and remind them of the famous Christ saying:

Why do you see the straw that's in your brother's eye, and don't you see the beam that's in your eye?

(Matthew 7,3)

Here are the “10 commandments of biblical Jihad” that the Eternal - JESUS of the N.T. - laid in his infinite Love:

1) Prepare for war!
2) Cursed be he who takes his sword away from the Carnaaaaaaaaage!
3) Slay the enemy to the last: "Kill them wherever you find them"!
4) Do not spare women, old people, oxen, sheep and donkeys!
5) But take the Loot from time to time ...
6) Rape the little girls of enemies!
7) Don't forget to burn the city down after that!
8) The javelin verse!
9) The verse of the stone!
10) The verse of the ax, the harrows, the saws!

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Jesus was bearded, as are most Muslims, but only the rare Christian.

I would like to ask about the prayer mark that shows on the forehead, why does it show on men and not on women? There are men who prostrate a lot but they do not have this mark. Is this mark what Allaah Almighty Means by Saying (what means): {…Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration…}[Quran 48:29]With due thanks and appreciation.
Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

The tangible mark that shows on the forehead due to prostration is not the mark that Allaah Almighty Mentioned among the characteristics of the Companions of Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, at the end of the Surah of Al-Fat-h. Allaah Almighty Says (what means): {…Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration…}[Quran 48:29]

It rather refers to what appears on the face of the person who prays to Allaah sincerely and submissively, fulfills His obligations and abstains from His prohibitions. This mark is the good halo, submissiveness, solemnity and modesty that show on the face. These meanings were transmitted by Ibn Katheer may Allaah have mercy upon him in his Tafseer on the authority of a number of the righteous predecessors such as Ibn ‘Abbaas may Allaah be pleased with him and Mujaahid may Allaah have mercy upon him. Mansoor may Allaah have mercy upon him quoted Mujaahid may Allaah have mercy upon him as saying:

{…Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration…} means submissiveness.

Some righteous predecessors said, “The face of the one who prays a lot at night looks beautiful during the daytime.”

Why does this mark show on men’s foreheads and not on women’s and why does it not show on many people who pray a lot? This is because bodies differ in their nature and people are different in how they prostrate and how long they stay in prostration. The most important element is the thing on which one lays his head. The rougher this thing is, the more evident this mark will be. This mark is not what is meant by the verse and it is not a sign of the righteousness of the person who has it.

Saudi Arabia is the same as ISIS in their laws and punishments. It's just 'they have a badge'. Are the people of Saudi Arabia true Muslims?

Also the beard thing..... I don't get it. Why do they have it? The Quran mentions that facial hair must look clean or something but never unkempt or untidy.

But so many revered Muslims like Osama Bin Laden and Al Bagdaddi had hideous frazzled beards.

Jesus said to love thy neighbour and even your enemies

He also said that eating pork was ok - all of gods creatures were good - nothing that goes into the mouth was unclean. Just what comes out (eg the hate spewed by Mohammed)

Also, even in the Quran you can make pork 'halal'. Just bless the food before you eat it - which I'm sure most religious people do before they eat so why the hate of pork?

Do you have a neat trimmed beard yasoooo or is it long and untidy like a lot of Muslims?

I am talking about Islam and I am not talking about the laws, customs and cultures of countries
Whether countries abided by the law of God or not
This is between them and God, who will hold everyone accountable for their actions

The Qur'an does not speak of the beard,
But the Prophet Muhammad and the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon them both have a beard
And the Muslim follows the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him

The Quran and the Bible prohibits eating pork

1. Pork prohibited in Qur’an
The Qur’an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places.
It is prohibited in 2:173, 5:3, 6:145 and 16:115.
“Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine,
and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah.”
[Al-Qur’an 5:3]
The above verses of the Holy Qur’an are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim as to why
pork is forbidden.

2. Pork prohibited in the Bible
The Christian is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures. The Bible
prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus
“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth
not the cud; he is unclean to you”.
“Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch,
they are unclean to you.” [Leviticus 11:7-8]
Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy
“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud,
it is unclean unto you
.
Why is the eating of pork forbidden in Islam? Dr. Zakir Naik (Urdu)

Dr Zakir Naik proved that having Pork is prohibited haraam in Islam as well as in Christianity

Jesus said to love thy neighbour and even your enemies

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

 (Mt 10,34-36)..
What more do you want ...

Mercy of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him

A Mercy Towards his Enemies
Nevertheless, he made sure that they were given the best of treatment. Among them was Suhayl bin 'Amr who was a fiery speaker and was denouncing the Prophet . 'Umar one the Prophet’s closest companions, suggested that two of his lower teeth be pulled out so that he might not be so vile in his speeches. The Prophet replied: “Were I to do this, Allaah would disfigure me on the Day of Judgement, despite the fact that I am His messenger.”

In Makkah, his people inflicted him with every kind of suffering, eventually forcing him to emigrate to Madeenah, and then waged war on him for five years. However, when he conquered Makkah without bloodshed in the twenty-first year of his Prophethood, he asked the Makkan unbelievers who were awaiting his decision about them: “How do you expect me to treat you?” They responded unanimously: "You are a noble one, the son of a noble one." He announced to them his decision:
“You may go free! No reproach this day shall be on you; may God forgive you.”

And the Muslim follows the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him

Now you're just making up things. I don't know about Muhammad, but it is unknown whether Jesus had a beard or not. So you stating that he did is not factual and not surprising considering your posts.

As Islam evolved over 20+ years it became a full-on warrior religion. One of the last verses sums that up in no uncertain terms - 9:111, "Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain".

Have you ever thought that you might be the issue here?   This has never happened to me and I can't imagine this guy live his life like this.

 ::)
I'm just asking.  You seem like a bit of an obsessive prick, so it could be that you just have that affect on people in general.

Then again I had a Muslim put a cutthroat razor to my neck the other day - the incident ended with me giving him money.

The verses of jihad in Islam have a context and Muslims do not attack people
• The Muslim fights only the one who fights him.

That's perhaps the biggest lie we are told about Islam.

The first Muslims created a vast empire via the sword. Please tell us what self defense necessity took Muslim armies to such far-flung locales as France and India.

Don't fall for this Islamopropaganda, folks. Don't fall for it.

In Makkah, his people inflicted him with every kind of suffering, eventually forcing him to emigrate to Madeenah, and then waged war on him for five years.

Another lie. Mohamed left Mecca because he finally figured out that the Meccans would never follow him and abandon their pagan gods. It took 12 years for that realization to penetrate his skull. As to the war, it was Mohamed who started it by raiding Meccan caravans.

The only way Muslims can make Islam sound compatible with the modern world is to lie about what it teaches and it's history.

Quote
However, when he conquered Makkah without bloodshed in the twenty-first year of his Prophethood, he asked the Makkan unbelievers who were awaiting his decision about them: “How do you expect me to treat you?” They responded unanimously: "You are a noble one, the son of a noble one." He announced to them his decision:
“You may go free! No reproach this day shall be on you; may God forgive you.”

He conquered Mecca "without bloodshed" in exactly the same way the Nazis conquered Paris. The Meccans saw the war was lost, so they surrendered.

Every honest Jew who knows the history of his people cannot but feel a deep sense of gratitude to Islam, which has protected the Jews for fifty generations, while the Christian world persecuted the Jews and tried many times “by the sword” to get them to abandon their faith.

The story about “spreading the faith by the sword” is an evil legend, one of the myths that grew up in Europe during the great wars against the Muslims -

It is a common misconception with some non-Muslims that Islam would not have millions of adherents all over the world, if it had not been spread by the use of force.
The following points will make it clear, that far from being spread by the sword, it was the inherent force of truth, reason and logic that was responsible for the rapid spread of Islam.
Islam has always given respect and freedom of religion to all faiths.  Freedom of religion is ordained in the Quran itself:
“There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion.  The right course has become clear from the wrong.”  (Quran 2:256)

The noted historian De Lacy O’Leary wrote:[1]  “History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated.”
The famous historian, Thomas Carlyle, in his book Heroes and Hero worship, refers to this misconception about the spread of Islam: “The sword indeed, but where will you get your sword? Every new opinion, at its starting is precisely in a minority of one; in one man’s head alone.  There it dwells as yet.  One man alone of the whole world believes it, there is one man against all men.  That he takes a sword and tries to propagate with that will do little for him.  You must get your sword! On the whole, a thing will propagate itself as it can.”

If Islam was spread by the sword, it was the sword of intellect and convincing arguments.  It is this sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people.  The Quran says in this connection:
“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best.”  (Quran 16:125)
The facts speak for themselves
•      Indonesia is the country that has the largest number of Muslims in the world, and the majority of people in Malaysia are Muslims.  But, no Muslim army ever went to Indonesia or Malaysia.  It is an established historical fact that Indonesia entered Islam not due to war, but because of its moral

message.  Despite the disappearance of Islamic government from many regions once ruled by it, their original inhabitants have remained Muslims.  Moreover, they carried the message of truth, inviting others to it as well, and in so doing endured harm, affliction and oppression.  The same can be said for those in the regions of Syria and Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, North Africa, Asia, the Balkans and in Spain.  This shows that the effect of Islam on the population was one of moral conviction, in contrast to occupation by western colonialists, finally compelled to leave lands whose peoples held only memories of affliction, sorrow, subjugation and oppression.
•      Muslims ruled Spain (Andalusia) for about 800 years.  During this period the Christians and Jews enjoyed freedom to practice their respective religions, and this is a documented historical fact.

•      Christian and Jewish minorities have survived in the Muslim lands of the Middle East for centuries.  Countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan all have significant Christian and Jewish populations.
•      Muslims ruled India for about a thousand years, and therefore had the power to force each and every non-Muslim of India to convert to Islam, but they did not, and thus more than 80% of the Indian population remains non-Muslim.
•      Similarly, Islam spread rapidly on the East Coast of Africa.  And likewise no Muslim army was ever dispatched to the East Coast of Africa.

•      An article in Reader’s Digest ‘Almanac’, yearbook 1986, gives the statistics of the increase of the percentage of the major religions of the world in half a century from 1934 to 1984.  This article also appeared in The Plain Truth magazine.  At the top was Islam, which increased by 235%, while Christianity had increased by 47%.  During this fifty-year period, there was no “Islamic conquest” yet Islam spread at an extraordinary rate.
•      Today the fastest growing religion in America and Europe is Islam.  The Muslims in these lands are a minority.  The only sword they have in their possession is the sword of truth.  It is this sword that is converting thousands to Islam.

•      Islamic law protects the privileged status of minorities, and that is why non-Muslim places of worship have flourished all over the Islamic world.  Islamic law also allows non-Muslim minorities to set up their own courts, which implement family laws drawn up by the minorities themselves.  The life and property of all citizens in an Islamic state are considered sacred whether they are Muslims or not.
Conclusion
It is clear, therefore, that Islam did not spread by the sword.  The “sword of Islam” did not convert all the non-Muslim minorities in Muslim countries.  In India, where Muslims ruled for 800 years, they are still a minority.  In the U.S.A., Islam is the fastest growing religion and has over six million followers.
In his book The World’s Religions, Huston Smith discusses how the prophet Muhammad granted freedom of religion to the Jews and Christians under Muslim rule:

The Prophet had a document drawn up in which he stipulated that Jews and Christians “shall be protected from all insults and harm; they shall have an equal right with our own people to our assistance and good offices,” and further, “they shall practice their religion as freely as the Muslims.”[2]
Smith points out that Muslims regard that document as the first charter of freedom of conscience in human history and the authoritative model for those of every subsequent Muslim state

What a sick, sick thing to say. Pathetic.

Do you have to practice being ignorant or were you born with this talent?

Sounds like you had a poor education

Don't believe the hateful crap you seek out on the internet.

Always the ignorant liars without studying the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him
They cheat to distort the image of Islam and the image of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him

The polytheists of Mecca are the ones who always fought the Prophet Muhammad and did not apologize to the Prophet
Because he was calling them to worship God and abandoned idolatry
And they killed the Prophet’s companions and tried to kill the Prophet and expelled him from Mecca, where he lived for 53 years in Mecca
And also they fought him in the city in which he lived
What happened when the Prophet conquered Mecca

The conquest of Makkah is the day of the greatest conquest. It is the day when Muslims entered Makkah from all four corners on the 20th of Ramadan, in the eighth year after the Prophets migration (Hijrah). They entered Makkah hailing victory, their tongues praising and thanking their Lord, Who granted them the victory and success.

In a majestic scene, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, enters Makkah on his camel with his head lowered in humility and humbleness before Allah, so much so that his beard almost touches the camel’s back. The scene of the victorious conqueror comes as a model and a guide against pride and egotism. He recited Surah Al-Fath (Chapter 48 of the Qur’an; The Victory) in gratitude to Allah’s favours upon him.

On the day of the conquest, the Prophet (pbuh) emphasised many great Islamic human values; when he returned the key of the Ka’ba to Uthman ibn Talha, saying: “Today is a day of righteousness and faithfulness.” And he assured the people of Makkah by pardoning those who were his enemies, saying:
“Go; you are free!”
“Today is the day of mercifulness; today is a day in which Allah has dignified Quraysh!”
“Today is a day of sanctification of the sanctities!”
And so people entered the religion of Allah in waves, and a new era with new features began.

The Prophet (pbuh) summoned the people for a khutbah (speech) to explain the honour and status of Makkah, as well as other teachings. In the khutbah, he (pbuh) said: “Allah has made Makkah sacred, and it is not permitted for anyone before me or anyone after me, except in this hour of conquering, to pluck its fruitful plants, cut its trees, hunt or scare its prey, and any found item cannot be taken except to return (it).”

It amazes me that in such an important grand predicament, on a day of a great conquest, the Prophet (pbuh) took time to explain to the Muslims the boundaries of the holy mosque of Makkah, clarifying the sanctity of cutting grass, and not even frightening the prey. The companion Ikrema, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “Do you know what (it means to) frighten the prey?” He answered: “It’s when the bird flies out from the shadows and you sit in its place.”

What elegant beauty, and what beautiful extractions we can take from the conquest of Makkah?

Indeed, it is the beautiful Islam, which perfected greatness and mercy in its meanings. It encompasses all creatures of Allah – man, plant and bird, and the Prophet (pbuh) kept reminding about them on the day of the great conquest.

O Allah, open upon our hearts to the delight of understanding Allah Almighty and His Messenger, peace be upon him…

I see you don't care how many lies I catch you in. Perhaps you're a bot.

When Mohamed defeated the Meccans in the Battle of the Trench, he decided he didn't need the Jews of Yathrib any more, so he wiped them out. He had at least 600 men and youths beheaded, their women and children enslaved, and took all their property.

With that, he had completed his ethnic-cleansing of all the Jews who 5 years before had given him refuge.

The "protection" of which he speaks is a status called dhimmitude. Under it, people are allowed to practice their own religion, but must accept second class status and pay a protection tax called the Jizyah.

And to think those ungrateful Jews don't appreciate all that largess.

Of course you don't give the rest of that verse. It says that the truth of islam is so obvious that compulsion shouldn't be necessary. If you want to be honest, tell us how surah 9 is not based entirely on compelling Muslims to fight.

I'll see your verse 16:125, and raise you:

- 4:91 "seize them and slay them".

-  47:31 "We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive [wage jihad]".

- 9:39 "If you do not go forth, He will punish you".
- 9:41 "Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah".
- 9:44 "Those who believe in God and the Day of Judgment do not ask you whether they should fight for the cause of God".
- 9:45 "It is only those who believe not in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts are in doubt that ask your leave (to be exempted from Jihad)" [clarification added by Mohsin Khan translation].
- 9:52 "Can you expect for us (any fate) other than one of two glorious things- (Martyrdom or victory)?".
- 9:73 "O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them".
- 9:81 "they hated to strive and fight with their properties and their lives in the Cause of Allah''.
- 9:86 "Believe in Allah and strive hard along with His Messenger".
- 9:88 "But the messenger and those who believe with him strive with their wealth and their lives".
- 9:93 "The blameworthy ones are those who ask for exemption [from fighting] despite their ability".
- 9:111 "Surely Allah has bought from the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah's way, so they slay and are slain".
- 9:123 "Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you"

You really prove to me your ignorance every day
And you are just a robot carrying out the church's agenda

In an effort and campaign by the West to tarnish the image of Islam, including the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace be upon him), some misguided individuals or groups have spared no effort to find issues that would ignite the public sentiment against Islam and its Prophet.

Among many unfounded accusations, is the allegation that Prophet Muhammad slaughtered 700 Jews once he settled in Madinah. Nothing could be farther from the truth—as God the creator of the Heavens and the Earth bears witness to the justice of Prophet Muhammad and the reality of events as they happened.

As to your explanation of the verses, it doesn't matter because it is your own opinion and the opinion of the corrupt people who wrap themselves around the texts to change the original clear meaning.

The wisdom behind the tax/jizyah paid by non-Muslims to the Islamic state was fairness. This is for two reasons:

First, Muslims were paying zakah (the annual charity) to the Islamic state, which was used for all sorts of services and social welfare. Zakah is an Islamic act of worship, but it is only for Muslims. It was fair to make non-Muslim citizens of the same state pay a similar (in fact, smaller) amount as a tax, since zakah is not taken from them as it is taken from Muslims.Jizyah was calculated in different ways throughout different eras (a certain amount of money, certain percentage of the crops, etc), but it was consistently less than the zakah, which every Muslim had to pay anyway.

In addition to that, this tax was paid in exchange of protection of these non-Muslim communities (i.e., military protection) and exemption of their men from joining the Islamic army.

The Prophet demonstrated to his people how this world is less important than the next, and how the body is less important than the soul. In fasting, the Prophet taught them step by step how to ignore the physical demands so that the spirit reigns supreme.

Abandoning food, drink, and sex was only a prelude to the next stage of greater significance: of conquering avidity and cupidity, lust and licentiousness; of liberating one’s mind from flights of passion and fits of temper. Indeed the Prophet said: “The strong person is not the one who can wrestle someone else down. The strong person is the one who can control himself when he is angry.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

Also about the effect of fasting on one’s behaviour, the Prophet said, “Fasting is a shield, so the one who fasts should avoid obscene speech and ignorant behaviour. If someone abuses him or starts to fight with him, he should reply by saying: ‘I am fasting. I am fasting’.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

The core of fasting according to the Prophet was one’s willingness not merely to give up self-indulgence, but to feel the need of one’s brother as one’s own. And no one was more kind-hearted and generous than the Messenger of God; and his generosity reached its peak in Ramadan. (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

The Prophet stressed on the importance of treating people nicely when he said: “Make things easy for people and do not make them difficult, and cheer people up and do not drive them away.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

He also said: “The most beloved of actions to God Almighty, is making another Muslim happy, removing a hardship that has befallen him, paying off a debt of his or ridding him of hunger. It is more beloved to me indeed that I walk with my Muslim brother to see to a need of his than secluding oneself in a mosque for a month…” (Tabarani)

The heart of one who sincerely fasts is open to the contemplation of the magnificence of the countless bounties of God. That is why the Prophet asked his followers to avoid gluttony: “The food of two people is enough for three, and the food of three people is enough for four.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)

Geez, lots of people advocate low calorie diets and fasting. Are we going to revere them?

Nothing special about Mohammed. He was just a glutton at night - for one month of a year

The rest of the year he pillaged and plundered villagers homes, women and food and helped himself to all of it. Drenched in the blood of innocents he dined
