It doesn't have to be convincing.
Stop gilding the pickle, you demisexual aromantic homoflexible snowflake.
The South Pole is all you need to disprove flat earth.

I would say that the biggest flat earth fallacy is that they are "free thinkers".Going around and denying everything you deem "mainstream" is far from free thinking.
[USA TODAY and NPR] are probaley just a bunch of flippin wite sapremist websites you RASCIST
i don't understand what you are saying=therfore you are liar
I nominate the Giant Conspiracy itself. The fact they think NASA, et al (not to mention whoever it was that came BEFORE NASA) is covering up the fact the Earth is flat is simply ludicrous.

What so you can count to four it don't mean you know anything about free thinking. What's most important about free thinking is critical thinking, and that's what us flat earthers do. We think critically. Take your globe and go back to your mainstream home.

No they don't. The flat earth yoda video shows how sunsets work in the flat earth. There is a dome, or a firmament as the ancients calls it, that has all kinds of fancy decorations to distract us, but all these astronomers are just looking at the ceiling and can't figure out that it's a ceiling.

With what power and what divergence of laser? The divergence of most non-gas lasers is not good enough to create a recognizable dot at several miles distance.I read a thread few months ago on laserpointerforums.com about guy who wanted to do experiment using a laser to measure curvature of the Earth. We basically told him divergence of lasers probably would not be good enough, unless he was willing to spend huge amounts of money. At 6 miles distance, average laser divergence leads to a spot 10ft in diameter, and 6 mi is probably not enough.

The surface does not curve downward at a constant rate. If it did, it would not be a curve. The surface curves downward "faster" the farther away you go.
Keep going till you find the spot where the South Celestial Pole is Directly Overhead and you are there. Compasses wont' help.
Besides, perhaps FET is a conspiracy too.
It is just the way it is, you understanding it doesn't concern me.

Currently, the magnetic north pole is just 4 degrees south of the geographic north pole.
