I cannot update my forum profile image

It says the following when I try to save my new profile image right now:

An Error Has Occurred!
Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information.

The image itself is 300x300 px. I tried jpg and png. The last one I uploaded was a png and it was much larger in size, so I don't think the image size or format are the culprits here.

I tried using a URL, that also did not work, and now I don't have an avatar at all

Can confirm it happens for my end too, even if I try to replace with the current avatar so the file is definitely not to blame. Something's gone screwy.

It's the servers I think as it's happening on my end too.

I just got a database error the first time I tried to open the forum.

So was ist das problem? (So what is the problem?)

Only admins do so that's probably why he can't fix it himself.

No. It can resize images just fine, and as stated, my previous image was significantly larger and it clearly worked.

how do we know it's you if we can't see your face? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HIM?

Tried to change mine to a 63x67 pixel, 4kb image. Unless I look orange, the file is not the problem.

Well for now I'll just be Shakira I guess.

It might be related to the file size or pixel. And using url usually works.

If these still don't work, maybe it's because you're not wise enough. Thanks John.

THe forums were probably revolting over wise dragging out the days in his WP game.  Makes sense since it started working after the game concluded.

No. It can resize images just fine, and as stated, my previous image was significantly larger and it clearly worked.

Bots are very rarely wrong about these kinds of things. I wanted my current avatar as the gif version but I couldn't upload it here or even use a link.

Mine worked, but I remember I had to mess around with the pixel height/width because it failed a couple of times. Try 125x125.
