Infinite Earth - The Next Step
« on: May 03, 2015, 02:21:18 PM »
Soon we will be able to access some of the new lands that have been denied to us so far. The obvious next step is to visit these lands and be the first to "discover" them.
Within the next few years I am planning to charter a boat to sail to Itchyland (it won't really be called that, it's not my real name).
Does anyone here with experience of ocean sailing, outdoor survival, or building want to join the expedition? I know where the boat needs to sail to, though I can't divulge that yet. But it would make sense for the voyage to begin in either Australia , New Zealand, or the west coast of South America.

I estimate the trip will last about a year, it's not a one way trip, although you may not want to come back.

You need to be brave, there could be all sorts of creatures there, including species thought to be extinct.

What will you do when you just find yourself on the other side of Antarctica?

Eh? We're not going anywhere near Antarctica.

Haven't you read any of my posts about infinite earth? If there is an edge, it's at the edge of the universe.

The landmasses are not arranged quite as you believe. The controls preventing us reaching new lands are ready to be lifted.

Measuring the distances between land masses is as simple of taking a plane or boat, going at a constant speed, and timing how long it takes you to reach the next continent.  Do you by chance have a map of how you believe the Earth looks?

when chartering the boat, it will be less expensive if you tell them you are going to what ever is on a traditional map that is located where you will find this new land.

I have found charters try to rip you off when they think they are going to uncharted territories with previously beleived to be extinct creatures.

Consider this savings, my contribution and safe travels

I'll donate a dollar,   and wave from the shore as you sail off into the sunset.   Perhaps to discover wonderful new worlds and never return. We can only hope.

We don't need donations, but thanks.

We have a boat and skipper, and a few people to help build our settlement!

Still need a few people to help document the wildlife. Especially helpful would be anyone who has some large cages so we can bring back some live animals.

We sail from Sydney June 2016.

We will have to very careful with information management. If it gets out, we'll have countries like China sending their navies and trying to claim the land and resources. We will present our evidence, when we are ready, to the Australian and British governments only.

Spoke like a true imperialist. But I am referring at what you will find over there, like animals and plants and stuff. Maybe there will be some interesting stuff. Not too descriptive.

Or at least a message that you arrived safely.

We sail from Sydney June 2016.

Why are you going in mid winter?    I thought you said you were going in the summer?

Year long. We travel in summer, stay on island, then travel back following summer. Why is that so hard to understand?

If you want to travel in summer, then you should leave in November.

I was gonna skip over that, just so, in June 2016, I would ask him "How's the snow down there?"

Ruined my one year joke.

Ha ha.   Sorry,   I should have kept quiet,   no snow in Sydney,  but they do get some pretty wild weather at times.   http://www.holiday-weather.com/sydney/averages/june

No, a true imperialist would inform the British government only. I'm giving the Aussies a cut!

Ha ha..   pack the long johns,  and wet weather gear.
I'm with Mikeman,  I think  for such a journey you should have a Marine Safety Engineer on the expedition team,  I'd like to recommend Anders Bjorkman,  he would be a good navigator as well.
You aren't planning any gravitational slingshots, so you should be fine.

You um... do realize that summer in the northern part of the Earth means winter in the southern part, do you?

(I avoided using the word "Hemisphere" as you won't agree with it)

But anyway, happy journey!

If we went this year we would find nothing. The new land is not revealed until the end of 2016.

Well it's not just sitting there where anyone can see it, it would already be discovered if that were the case.

New land is gradually revealed to us, and next year is reveal year.

Questions time!

1. How is new land revealed?
2. "reveal" implies that it already exists somewhere. Why/How are we not seeing it?
3. Who reveals it?
4. Why is it revealed?
5. If it does not exist, how does it form?
6. Why is 2016 a reveal year? How did you deduce that?
7. What makes you think that supersonic jets won't be there before you?
8. When was the last reveal year?

You haven't been keeping up with infinite earth theory!

The earth is an infinite plain. We are only able to travel to a restricted distance from the centre of the world, which is East Africa. When we reach an advanced enough level, we can go further. The last land to be revealed was Australia.
The coordinates and date of the next reveal have been communicated to me in my dream-meetings with the Controller.

You do realize that... that sentence puts you in the "You need therapy" list, don't you?

But moving on. Who's the Controller? How did the dream-meeting happen? What are you referring to when you say "we have to reach an advanced enough level". How is East Africa the furthest we can go?
