This makes me laugh when someone takes a joke too literally and someone replies:

That reminded me - something that used to make me laugh (but doesn't any more since I now live in a city where I can walk everywhere) is seeing middle aged overweight guys in suits running to catch public transport.  It doesn't matter how early in the morning it is and how much I disliked my work, every time I saw that it made me feel good on the inside. :D
