Not official.  I only see his model being supported by him.  Maybe he has some none vocal believers.

I am not 100% sure he understands what he post.  It is usually a wall of text that is about 99% copy and pasted from some source.  Then the stuff he posted is either completely not relevant or maybe a sentence or two is out of the entire wall of text he copied and pasted.

I do not even bother reading what he post anymore because of the above.

You ask "Do i need to know about the stuff he has posted?" No, it bears little connection to the "official" Flat Earth theory!

Sandokhan is the sort of person who knows that he knows absolutely everything about everything.

This obviously puts him (in Sandokhan''s own opinion of course) far above Albert Einstein, who is reported to have said
The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.
                   ― Albert Einstein
From Goodreads
Since Sandokhan clearly does not know how much he doesn't know,  we could use Einstein's logic and infer how little Sandokhan has learned.

No, Sandokhan is no official spokesman and nobody understands his theories. I think that if anyone did he'd consider himself a failure.

I don't know who is "official spokesperson", but you might learn a bit from "the Wiki". The link to this in the home page has been "hacked" and not fixed, but this link should get you to the "Wiki home page": The Flat Earth Society Wiki, Home Page. searches and the contents there should get you to most material.

I am not a Flat Earth supporter,  and as far as I know, of those that have replied to your post only  ::) Bullwinkle  ::) is a "Flat Earther", so you can see how helpful they are.

To be fair, he seems to command enough mathematical brilliancy to having baffled both Jane and mathman at least once. Maybe it is all brilliant, but everybody else is too stupid to understand. Since we do not read what he writes we will never know.

He may have a great understanding of mathematics, but that does not mean that he is brilliant in other fields of science. A lot of people often make this mistake.

Thanks for the link, the articles there at least do not make my head spin. I have some reading to do. I'm guessing this place is devoid of direct answers from believers?

I'm open minded to the Idea of a flat earth, even as just a concept. but I wont just accept it without at least it calling my perceived reality into question and their being a modicum evidence that logically points towards flatness.

I have been seeing Flat earth stuff on you tube for a while, just thought i would entertain the idea and give it a chance to stand up. Unfortunately the stuff i have seen on youtube  from a guy called Jeranism, and another called Eric Dubay are just terrible. I was hoping on here i would find better answers.

It is very relevant to how flat earth works, because it is the only theory that does explain flat earth physics, and that has been thoroughly tested in nine years of debate.

Flat earth theory is a subset of a much larger and actually more interesting subject: the new radical chronology of history.

What exactly is it that you do not understand? What is it that you'd like to find out?

Check out the beam neutrinos and ring laser gyroscope threads: a PhD level physicist who took part in the neutrino detector experiments.

At that point in time, he single-handedly put an end to the FES: imagine shooting a neutrino beam into the ground at a downward angle and then re-emerge from the ground to be detected at lab located at a certain altitude.

I waited out the entire debate to make sure that the FE had no possible answers for this argument: once I intervened it was all over for the beam neutrinos thread in less than 30 minutes.

I'm curious which of the following options was it?

1: You said something that scientifically proved the theory wrong
2: The discussion died down, you wrote something and nobody replied
3: people got bored of arguing (not necessarily with you but in general about that topic)
4: you did yourself an experiment that had different results
5: Nobody actually acknowledged that you were right
6: You posted page-long replies that nobody wanted to read so they just shut up
7: it wasn't actually over for the thread
8: i'm running out of inspiration
9: make another option if you think mine don't accurately represent reality
10: i just wanted ten options, looks better.

Had you or some other Flat Earther responded with even a little help others might not have stepped in.
I did at least try to point him in the  ??? right  ??? direction  :D
But most Flat Earthers seem to ignore "the Wiki" anyway, but where else are newcomers to get information?
Possibly Q&A should be restricted, so that anyone could start a thread,  but only "believers" allowed to respond.
Then all answers would probably come from  ;D İntikam  ;D!

Try the link to "the Wiki" from the home page  ;D Flat Earth Wiki  ;D.
It's been like that for months, don't any administrators "maintain the Wiki"?

If I answer a question in Q&A I tend to both give the usual FE-answers, my opinion and the request for FEers to correct me if i'm wrong.
The only reason I replied in this thread before is because I smelled BS.  And now i'm replying because of the generalization.  You started of right with the most of you but rapped it up with y'all.  I don't like generalizations and avoid doing so myself as muceb as possible.  An example: I think we can all agree that there are some pretty crazy FEers here.  I don't call you all crazy.  There is at least one mod occasionally posts troll-like replies, I don't call all mods trolls.

(for the attentive readers:  I do make generalizations sometimes, 99,99% of those are to provoke FEers into responding and it tends to work.  The other 0,01% are mistakes.  Hey i'm only human after all.)

Yes, I did read the post, and agree with you, but I'm afraid you were the "bunny" being (at that time, as far as I know) the only Flat Earther to post.

And it is not easy for newcomers to even find "the Wiki" as it's still all f. . . .ed up!

You might note that while I'm quite prepared to give FE answers, it is usually done with a degree of levity (I don't dare say :P sarcasm  :P as that's a hangin' offence) and I'm not too afraid of being called a Flat Earther. Those doing it will soon be disabused.

True, "y'all need to stop spamming this forum", but so far the only Flat Earthers have been:
Bullwinkle (no help), FalseProphet (no help), Forum MOM  (no help on the topic yet) and sandokhan (who would drive any "seeker" to drink!).

So, how about it?

So my opening post was week :(, but I was just testing the waters.

I read a few threads before I posted and I never saw a flat earth answer. To be honest I couldn't even tell what side of the fence any of the forum members sit upon. I knew nothing of the "wiki" so was grateful for that answer. I am going to spend a few days having a read before I  ask any other questions.

I have just One request. Can any serious flat earth believer post in this thread and just leave a comment introducing yourself, mentioning that you believe in flat earth and the main reason why you believe that the earth is flat?

Could ball earthers do the same, and mention why you disbelieve in flat earth.

Since this is the Q&A forum and not for debating I will keep this short and only give links to some of my posts.

I am most certainly a Globe supporter, but for me, there is no one stand-out proof - well photos from space do but they are "not allowed".

I just see numerous simple things that do not fit with the idea of a flat earth. Here are a few of my posts:

This is a very strong point, though often FEers refuse to accept the distances.
The accepted (FE might disagree) dimensions don't fit a flat surface: How many are involved? « Reply #34 on: December 27, 2016, 09:14:40 AM ».

Mainly a list of points: Planelandings - North/South-Runways - how? « Message by rabinoz on January 17, 2016, 01:29:33 PM ».

This has some overlap, but some other points as well: What logical reasons are there to believe Newtonian gravity is wrong? « Reply #35 on: August 17, 2016, 05:57:12 PM ».

There is much, much more related to sun and moon distances and general astronomy as well. I find that everything fits in with the rotating globe earth model without the need for complicated explanations.

Now, undoubtedly FEers will claim answers to all these points, but I am afraid I do not find those answers even feasible.

Best of luck.

Anything wrong with that?

My homeboys tell me the earth is flat. Are they right?
Ask a stupid question and get a stupid answer, I don't see why this question deserved well thought out and serious answers.
I'm not a psychologist and don't mean to attack one person but why doesn't this question deserve an answer?  The only reason i can come up with is because some FEers might be a tad paranoid.  Just my thoughts and again i'm not trying to attack one person here.

Could ball earthers do the same, and mention why you disbelieve in flat earth.
I'm a roundy and there is not one particular reason why i believe in a globe earth, but let me list some.

-The inability of FEers to quickly and simply explain the lunar eclipse.
-The inability of FEers to provide evidence for the conspiracy (and no, no conspiracy is perfect so there has to be evidence out there if that conspiracy exist)
-The ignorance of some FEers (an example: a FEer said that another FEer  doesn't believe in the existence of AIR.  Another example: Why don't the people at the bottom of the earth fall of? And other questions like this)
-The inability of FEers to explain plate tectonics and seismology in general.
-(In my opinion) stupid topics like" PLUTO FAKE 248 Year Orbit Debunked" and (again in my opinion) stupid claims like "sqrt(2) isn't an irrational number" make me believe that some FEers are just ignorant to science.

-Observations done from up in space
-Seismology
-Other planets being round
-Gravity

Roundy here. Too much evidence to support a globe, none supporting flatness. But its a fun topic to debate if you can find a flatty in the right mood.
