That is incorrect.  A powerful enough transmitter is useless if alignment to the reflector can’t be maintained.  This is especially true for ka-band.  Balloons are for sure out. 

Troposcatter propagation distances are variable.  They are subject to changes in atmospheric conditions.  Conditions that not only effect propagation distances but angles and directions.   

If you look at this objectively, high-altitude balloons and troposcatter aren’t viable for DBS.   

Additionally, nobody has ever seen a mythical fleet of troposcatter transmitters or high-altitude providing signal to a  hundred million dishes worldwide.

If there are deep learning AI training in complete nonsense for example, I would think there would be at least one handler monitoring the progress and making adjustments as needed.

It is just my opinion, as of this moment we are seeing more human interaction that AI...I am definitely not blinded to the point the tables will turn as tech and training progress. Just don't see it as the most direct current threat, certainly a very direct near future threat.

I was involved in countless debates here where pseudoscientific arguments were used to troll the upper forums.

So, this forum might benefit from such scientific moderators, but few people have the time at their disposal needed/required to fulfill such a job.

How much time or education does it require to understand that conservation of momentum is never defined as m1 v1 = m2 v2 + m3 v3?
