Heard it all before. Go do a search and you'll find numerous experiments you can conduct yourself that prove the shape of the earth.

No it isn't. Like I said before, lack of evidence to believe something is enough reason not to believe it. You can claim the contrary all you want, but it will never be true.

Example.

Many people claim to have seen the Lochness Monster. Reaserch has been done and as of yet, no evidence has turned up to the existence of the Lochness Monster.

The same exact thing applies to the Yeti and Big Foot.

The eye-witness accounts are reasonable evidence that these creatures exist. However they are very good at evading every scientific attempt to capture hard evidence to their existence.

No such evidence exists for blue flamingos made out of straw. Not even an eye-witness account.

Right now you don't even have plausible evidence linking to the Matrix. Not even flying Neos.

I think there is plenty of effidence of the Earth being a sphere. People have been in space, who saw it with there own eyes (there have been hundreds of people in space, from several countries). Pictures taken from space, live streams (http://www.nasa.gov/55644main_NASATV_Windows.asx).

And why doesn't anyone comes up with REAL effidence that the earth is flat. Until now, it's been nothing more than theories. Give me photos, instead of computer generated pictures of a flat sun or moon. Or photos of the icewall, or of the people and boats protecting the icewall.

Depending on how long it's been on the internet,this theory can be dumped. Also,i doubt that computer generated images could be created to look like that. even if it were pre-recorded it takes months to create even a short,real-looking CG clip like that.

i don't know how you can say that. there's been pictures from space proving the world to be round. the first pictures came in,what,the 60s......no computer back then could've possibly generated these sorts of images.  this theory that nasa made these images up has no standing in reality.

Maybe it's possible for anyone to take a picture from a distance. You know, with a telescope, or something. And I don't say it should be you doeing it, but someone can do it, or someone should have done it allready. There is no way no one ever took a picture of it.

That's a lie. People can get high enough to take a picture. You just need a very powerfull engine, enough fuel, a good camera and a radio transmitter. You only need to take a few picture, send them to the ground and then let it fall back to earth, or let it fall into the great depth.
