Why is Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus still in charge of the WHO?

He did his best during covid and deserves another go.

Are you just stalling for time?

Quote
In epidemiology, an infection is said to be endemic in a specific population or populated place when that infection is constantly present, or maintained at a baseline level.[1] The term describes the distribution of an infectious disease among a group of people or animals or within a populated area.[2] An endemic disease always has a steady, predictable number of people or animals getting sick, but that number can be high (hyperendemic) or low (hypoendemic), and the disease can be severe or mild.[3][4] Also, a disease that is usually endemic can become epidemic.[3]

Why would that be inciting terrorism?  Lorddave was merely describing a type of shop we have here in the US, a bomb-gun shop.  A shop that sells bomb-guns.

Almost every disease in that list of diseases that there are vaccines for is or has been endemic in some population group, genius. It's not a characteristic of the virus. Covid wasn't endemic, and it became endemic now because it wasn't stopped. If it had been stopped, it wouldn't have been endemic, and if someone figured out a way to stop it tomorrow it would stop being endemic.

Measles is endemic in many places, and it was in many more places, until the vaccines.

Hantavirus isn't endemic to any human population but we don't have a vaccine for it.

They ended the pandemic by making the virus endemic.

Thats genius, really.

It's objectively no longer a pandemic, just endemic. You've really got me here.

Sigh. You said covid vaccines and flu vaccines aren't as effective because these diseases are endemic. I told you that has nothing whatsoever to do with how effective vaccines are, because it's not a characteristic of the virus. You said something irrelevant about covid not being a pandemic because it is endemic. Do you even read what I write?

Right, and you admitted measles is no longer endemic because of vaccines.
