I don't hink thereis anything wrong with this website and i wasn;t calling on anyone to judge the website (probably used the wrong word), I think the idea is great, it is just being overrun by globe believers in my opinion. Maybe should've been more clear on that.

It is my opinion that any lie, cover up , widespread misconception, or what ever of this caliber would obviously have a whole team of people on here covering it up, which i think i have seen evidence of that here. Just look up globe earth math proof. For me, using the videos search of duck duck go instead of youtube, i get all of the evidence based flat earth videos i couldn't find by searching for the words that spell flat earth evidence. I think  some thing is being hidden from our eyes....

The world is covered in cameras, YouTubers, bloggers, vloggers, ticktockers and people in third world countries without running water, sanitation and without an electric grid have phones they use to post videos and pictures to Facebook. How exactly is a "team of people" going to stop everyone on the planet from showing this evidence if it exists? We are far, far past the point where you can cover up something like a huge dome, massive ice wall or all the other things flat earthers claims.  Not unless six billion people are in on the conspiracy.

There simply are no evidence based flat earth videos. I have yet to see one single piece of flat earth evidence that can't easily be refuted.

I spent a week going over those "The ISS is Faked" videos and every single claim took about 30 seconds to debunk. That went on until that alt account went inactive to avoid having to face reality. Any video you find on duck duck is going to have the same problems.

Don't forget there is a True Believers section here that is free of non-flat earthers. It should be a repository of great proofs and undeniable facts if what you said is true, but strangely it's full of posts claiming wheels don't work without oxygen and other nonsense.

This forum has always been overrun by angry globularists, but there used to be more people arguing for the flat side, so the globularists didn't focus so much on what one FEer posts. So now you have a parade of people with no one else to bother following you around the forum.
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Can't the same be said for anything?   Think about 9-11.  None of the weather/traffic cams of the day caught any jet aircraft arcing across the sky headed into the two biggest cities on the east coast.  So what does that mean?  It means none of the traffic/weather cams caught any jet aircraft arcing across the city skyline.

Have you ever heard 'most car accidents are close to home'.  People rarely travel far from home.

"Approximately 52 percent of all car accidents occur within a five-mile radius of home, and 69 percent of all collisions happen within a 10-mile radius from home. The implications are that shorter trips closer to home are among the highest for car accidents."

- Mar 3, 2021

The implication is 'shorter trips'.  Think about the people you know.  Their dentist is probably within the 10 mile radius, grocery stores... Minnesotans don't go to Florida for x-Rays.  They go the local place the next town over.  Probably within 10 miles.  While local trips are shorter it's probable that most people don't leave a 10 mile radius from where they eat/sleep/live.

The last school shooting.  Most high school teenagers have video cameras, yet there isn't video of the school shooting.  What does it mean when their aren't 'videos and pictures to Facebook' or Bitchute or the Darkweb?

9-11 was more than 20 years ago and there is still footage of the planes hitting the towers.

Who cares if people stay close to home.  Even if nobody left their house, everyone looking out their windows still covers a vast amount of the planet.  In reality Billions of people travel across the globe every year.

Small events like a school shooting not being filmed isn't surprising, it means nobody recorded it or felt it was in bad taste to upload it. It's not a conspiracy. That's small stuff. I'm talking about a planet (or disk) covering dome, a massive ice wall surrounding us, the entirety of spaceflight being faked and somehow making maps that work but still hide the shape of the Earth. The biggest lie you could possibly tell.

These are things that in the modern day would require half the population to be in on for a successful conspiracy.

Drones, balloons that can reach the stratosphere, civilian rockets reaching orbit, billions of people using satellite communications and GPS satellites, charter jets that can take you anywhere in the world, cruise ships. Yet somehow all of this is redirected away from the dome/ice wall/edge/infinite land without anyone finding out.

This isn't the 19th century anymore.  You can't hide an entire planet from everyone.

'Angry' globularists?  What have we got to be angry about? It's not our fault there are still some people around who (for reasons best known to themselves) believe the Earth is flat.

What would be nice is if you 'angry' flatties actually came up with some real evidence for a change that backs up your endless claims. But up to now whatever claims you come up with can be so easily refuted. Do any of you seriously believe the Earth is somehow surrounded by some kind of 'dome'?  You seem to be more obsessed throwing accusations about lies, fakery and deliberate 'cover ups' than actually finding any evidence that backs up what you believe in.  You talk about complete nonsense or angry ranting (probably where this post will end up).  Two words which sum up flat Earth belief very nicely in my opinion (anyone else?).

Or if you don't like people being around who don't agree with what you like to believe in then ban us.  That way you can get on with convincing yourselves the Earth is flat in peace.

Don't fall for the trolling. That's some good advice I have been given on this forum. :)

The dome like all flat earth features is used when convenient and abandoned when not.  They can claim it explains stars by being a big holo projector, then when asked where is it claim only some theories include a dome.

There is more evidence in the night sky that we live on a globe than anywhere actually on the Earth itself. It would be nice if just some of the flat Earthers would take some time to actually study what we can see up there properly instead of of just dismissing it all. It is so obvious sometimes that they look but they don't see. Instead they just go and find a large lake or similar, aim a laser beam across it and then claim that proves the Earth is flat!

To try and suggest that the phases of the Moon or sunrise and set are caused by some magical bending property of light for which there is no evidence to support is simply ridiculous. It just shows the level of desperation they have risen to to try and defend their ridiculous beliefs.

If only.

I had a huge debate with Tom Bishop when I mentioned stars move in circles.  He claimed they moved in ovals and his evidence were star trails photos taken with wide angle lenses.

He flat out refused to accept that my equatorial telescope mount moved in a circle.

See the current thread about WISH claiming the celestial sphere is actually a cylinder. His evidence is "Just look up! It's obvious!"

Well now you know he let himself get angry, despite trying to convince anyone reading along here that he's got nothing to get angry about, and you apparently also get similarly angry according to your own words since you know "exactly how he feels."

Sure sounds like "angry globularists" was an apt description for some of the folks that like to angry-post here while continuing to adhere to the RE framework and simultaneously declaring they have nothing to be angry about despite actually rage-quitting the entire forum and then coming back. Ya know?

I certainly do get similarly angry.  I've mentioned it before and trying to pretend otherwise would be silly.  I mean, just read some of my messages, it's rather obvious.  >:(

I'm not always angry but when I am, it's usually because someone said something so stupid I can't handle it.

However, I'm fully capable of bamming myself when I get too angry.  Then coming back when I calm down. A little.

The circle of life.

It is explained on many a website how it is impossible to debate or discuss anything with conspiracy theorists if you don't agree with their beliefs. And it is absolutely true. If you disagree with them and try to explain why their belief system is wrong they simply accuse you of being angry etc etc. It is better to simply leave them to get on with their beliefs and ignore them.

So now, and this time round I think that is exactly what I will do.  Fare well all.  I promise you, you won't be hearing any more from me.

How does one debate then? Linking to Wiki pages that you wrote and appealing to your own authority like you do?

Or claiming PI is actually 3.0 because you found a Twitter post saying it is, and claiming all of math is wrong because you have the One True Source?

Thanks for another random Tom Bishop drive by.  See you in another few months.  ::)

Maybe you just don't know how to debate.
That's rich coming from you.

Spamming links to wiki pages and ignoring objections to your claims isn't debating.
Blatantly misrepresenting science/math/reality, such as by pretending the lack of a simple solution to a general three body problem means that three body systems are all unstable is not debating.
Misrepresenting refutations of your claims, or claims of other FEers, by pretending they are positive arguments for something which can be dismissed as they are not conclusive, is not debating.

At least not in any honest way.

The "truth" is that Earth is flat...

Except when you take sextant and/or theodolite, and measure Earth yourself.
Then you see it's a globe.

Back in 2016 you could buy theodolite on eBay for as low as $200, sextant for as low as $20.

Meanwhile, hordes of geodesists measured Earth millions of times and they are still doing it.
.
I don't have to fight about anything.
These things are not about me.
When one points facts out, they speak for themselves.
The main goal in all that is simplicity.

This is flat out wrong.  I was an air traffic controller shortly after 9-11.  The folks that hijacked those aircraft turned the transponders off, meaning ATC only had raw radar returns to track them by.  ATC Centers (the FAA facilities that control most of the airspace above 10,000ft.) and several terminal approach controls use a system called Micro E-ARTS, which is an array of radar stations.  Those systems are highly dependent on aircraft having a transponder and that those transponders are turned on and working.  Being able to see a raw radar return on a scope isn't easy, especially when you factor in ground clutter, flocks of birds, VFR pilots that are flying around at low altitudes without their transponders turned on (because they don't need to talk to ATC).

And what do you mean there weren't any cameras watching planes fly through the sky?  How would you even know that a commercial flight going overhead wasn't on a terminal departure route, jet route, or arrival procedure?  On 9-11 those flights likely looked like every other commercial plane in the sky until they were too low, and by then it was too late.  Those planes were probably in the background of all sorts of surveillance footage, but they didn't look out of the ordinary until they deviated to a point where we all saw them hitting those buildings...on camera

yea we all realize that their is a semi convincing (? not like most have the time to cross check and verify it all) explanation for everything in text books and the mainstream media, that is NOT what we are talking about and examining on this website...right?

As a newcomer myself i have to fully agree with OP. globists clearly come here to bully others and it can be seen in this debate too. whatever you believe you should not run in where people disagree with you and shout everyone down. i know people who hate feminism and run into feminist forums and mock women who already feel bullied and mocked just because they want to debate feminism. i know christians who get bullied on christian forums by athests and people of other religion who just see it as easy target when people of one belief gather in one place. people who come to a flat earth forum just to shout that they dont believe and flat earth and then demand that everyone stop to prove them wrong should go away. this is not the place for you. if you want debate between flat and round earthers go make a forum for that. dont scream about oranges in a forum for apples.

Interesting that FE requires people to claim conspiracy about anything that doesn't support their emotional unsupported beliefs.  Anything that has mountains of evidence can simply be dismissed because it disproves the silly notions of a FE.  All satellite communications and almost all of the people who work in those fields are demonized as liars, almost all long haul pilots who rely on the reality of navigation based on a globe must be either stupid or liars, almost all engineers who rely on the reality of physics which mostly disagrees with the possibility of a FE are all stupid or liars.  Yep some uneducated few conspiracy minded people must know more than millions of others.  Not just people who learned the facts of reality, the people who use that same information daily.  Sure, it's all just a bunch of bullies who want to pick on the poor FE people.  Not that they may be trying desperately to explain to you how you are completely incorrect in your assumptions about it all being fake or anything.  Not that many of us like to educate other people or block impressionable others from doing things like mad mike did and kill themselves because they didn't want to even listen to anything that challenges their emotional need to feel smarter than everyone.
