Where did Jimmy say he was a Bible scholar? He just said scholars don't believe in your interpretation, and you don't have to believe in God to read or study the Bible in the first place. I don't know where you heard it but I doubt there are Israeli aircraft in Cyprus. But Cyprus has other problems with Israel, many Israelis are buying lots of assets in Cyprus and driving up rents, plus creating gated Israeli communities.

Wise, I haven't heard anyone say Israel has aircraft in the British base in Cyprus. Regardless, the British base is British sovereign territory, not Cyprus, and it shouldn't be the fault of Cyprus.
