There were people who had evacuated other areas staying next to the parking lot. There aren't any confirmations on the number of people killed, but I do not believe it will be nearly so many as Hamas claimed.

Alright, after looking into this more it seems like it's much more likely to be a misfire by Hamas. 

I happily retract my screeching accusations of war crimes by Israel for this incident.

5000 dead in Gaza.  2,055 children, 1,119 women and 217 elderly.  A number of UN workers have been killed by Israeli air strikes.

Assuming that every single adult male was a terrorist, for every terrorist killed they also kill 2 civilians.

I don't think that level of collateral damage is okay.

No doubt it is horrific in Gaza and a lot of people have died under the bombing, however those figures are just what Hamas is telling everyone.  I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they might not be entirely trustworthy.

Yes, I don't understand why so many journalists are willing to use Hamas as a reliable source. They should be skeptical about claims from the IDF, or the US gov/military, or any other source that might have an interest in making themselves look righteous, including Hamas!   

I've considered that. But it is consistent with previous attacks on Gaza. Also when you drop a jdam on an apartment building its completely believable that a lot of families are getting killed.

I am reading from people on Twitter that support for Palestine is being censored. idk about other platforms, but wouldn't surprise me. I do not like this way of being pro free speech but only if you agree with the speech.     People should not be fired from their jobs (this has happened at some university but I can't remember which one) for supporting Palestine.

Blackballing pro Palestinian students has been threatened but I don't now if anyone has gone through with it.  I think it's something a lot of the republicans in the primary say.

A man who was arrested for a home invasion in Studio City early Wednesday morning shouted “Free Palestine” as he was cuffed and placed in a police cruiser, video shows.

The break-in happened around 5:20 a.m. in the 3000 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, according to Los Angeles Police. Officers responded after a homeowner called 9-1-1 saying a man had broken in through the front door.

According to Key News, a Los Angeles stringer service, two adults and four children were inside the home at the time, and the intruder threatened to kill the family.

The husband eventually pushed the man out of the home and into the backyard where officers found him armed with a kitchen knife, Key News reports.

He was taken custody without further incident. No property was taken and no injuries were reported, police said.

In addition to shouting “Free Palestine,” the suspect could also be heard on video saying “Brown Lives Matter.

Attacking Jews, who do not live in Israel, and demanding they "Free Palestine" will never make sense to me!

It's probably counterproductive to freeing Palestine.  It reinforces the narrative that Israel is the only safe space for Jews.
