These guys are nuts. I wonder how long this is going to last before the bubble pops on GME. And AMC. And DogeCoin. And whatever other crazy things they decide to go after.

And now that the hangover has set it then Melvin capital can recover their losses and then some by shorting the hell out of GME.

It's rallying again.  Only down 16% on the day now

Dogecoin will have a couple more hypes and deaths.

He would say that, wouldn't he?   Much as enjoyed the film, it was a sympathetic portrait of a lying sociopathic conman.  The guy is a scumbag of the lowest kind.

I feel that he was portrayed as sympathetic in the same way as the main character in any Grand Theft Auto game was made sympathetic.

Yep, a bunch of hedgefunds had long positions on GameStop, something missed on much of the reporting.  I understand between them their investments reached $16B at the top.

Ha, yeah, exactly.  Alright for a cartoonish bit of fun, but in reality having your life savings taken by a psychopath like Belfort isn't hilarious in real life.

I think right now this is going on:
- big investors are slowly selling their stock, making a shitload of money
- hedgefonds are not covering, they are just waiting for the big crash that is inevitabely coming, to then still make decent money
- reddittards are still buying and holding ond their worthless gme stock, not realizing that in the end they will be the big loosers.

I would guess so, there will be a lot of redditors who bought at higher prices who will be panic selling to cut their losses.  Then again, you can't always guess how the swarm will behave....

GME has nosedived to $107. All the stocks the redditors have been chattering about are in the red right now lol. Meanwhile, the DJIA Is up over 500 points. Also, it seems Revolut, Robinhood, and Cashapp are still limiting or outright not allowing these kids to buy all the GME they want.

$87 now and it will keep going.  Probably back to a more realistic $10.

I'm heavily invested in the spectator/entertainment side of this. I will be watching to see if it keeps dropping or does a bounce. There is no shortage of talking heads saying both things should be expected. It's great drama.

If they are limiting or not allowing GME to be bought, this could very well be the cause of the continual drop in price.  Though GME did get ridiculously overpriced and needs to be corrected.  The drop was inevitable.

It's has bounced a little to $122.  70% of peak is like $342 - I very much doubt it will hit that ever again  - too many of the reddit swarm will have been burnt by now.   If you think it will be back up to 50%-70% of peak you should put your money into it, you could make a killing.

The only long term it's only direction is down.  Probably in the short term as well.
