Rent a boat and sail out far far out. If you look around you, you can se the roundness of the earth.  Or just take a plane and fly around the earth.

What does being American have to do with knowing anything about physics or astronomy?  Leading scientists in pretty much every field claim Americans as some of their members.  I'm an American and I probably know more about those subjects than most people on this board and most people who post these criticisms.  If there's one thing that NON-Americans are showing on these forums is that they are prejudiced when it comes to Americans.

Hey. WTF EnCOm? I hate to be one of those Americans that talks about how much better we are. So I won't. But I will say this; try explaining why the majority of modern technology and scientific advance comes from America. And you will note that I said the majority, not all.
