Jeremy is great at card tricks and a lot of fun, too. He doesn’t just do magic or card-trick performances — he practically puts on a show of his own. Even if you take the tricks away, he’s still entertaining.

Jeremy explains here quite thoroughly how the card trick is done. I watched it in slow motion, and yes, he's picking up the card from underneath, just as he said. But it's impossible to discover that in normal motion or with the naked eye. This was convincing about the dangers of gamble with strangers.

From the other side: If the yogurt was past its expiration date, you’d call the owner over, point out the flaw, and you’d probably end up getting the entire meal for free. It’s a matter of preference, of course. If you choose to humiliate the staff to boost your “aura,” you should also be ready for that aura to get reset.
