How about something that actually makes sence?

Oh, so not Flat Earth theory then?

I was refering to his 'model' of gravity.

Yup. Because nuclear forces and gravitons make less sense than a perfectly circular flat earth with North in the middle of the Indian ocean and  150ft ice wall around the edge guarded by some generic 'government' that for some reason dosn't want us to know the world is flat?

Yeah. I can see where you're coming from.

Actually, I was talking about his insistance that gravity and the strong nuclear force were the same, even though all the governing equations are different.

Gravity is an extension of the strong nuclear force.

Is it?

This, highly, highly simplified, is how gravity works.

But it was a nice try...

Gravity: based on two masses and the square of the distance between them.
Strong Force: based on two masses and the square of the distance between them.

THAT'S IT.  That's the only similarity I see between the two.

Hey I just tought off something. I saw earlier here that someone posted pictures from an areoplane where it was visible that the horizon is curved. You FE people claimed that it is due to the imperfection of the camera or lens or whatever. So you can make an experiment yourselves. It does not take a plane flight to se this curve. All you need to do is climb a mountain or take a road with car if you detest phisical exercise :) or whatever means you like. Make sure you climb one wich has a belvedere somewhere at the top. This does not need to be a very high montain. Here where I live the nearest one is just about 900 meters high. From the belvedere of this montain it is clearly visible that the horizon is curved. When you see it with your own eyes, the only thing you can say is that perhaps your eyes are imperfect or something.
:) But then again I'm sure you would.

Edit:  Sorry, Tom, that's called plagiarism, and I don't appreciate it.- TheEngineer.

You see this seems to me as some very advanced phisics and I haven't enough will to read your links. When someone puts gravity as an argument he is asked to explain exactly how it works. Even when someone really tried to put in short lines how it works it was not good enough. It seems to me you must think that something like this will scare away someone who does not understand it. So you will have to convince me that even you understand exactly how this can produce mentiond effect by explaining this. You cant just call out people to explain to you how something like gravity that is genraly accepted everywhere in the world works, and then put out few links or copy paste something and expect pepole to swallow it as an explanation of your very radical theories. So please, if you are serious put it in your own words how this can produce mentioned effect in vision. If you think I'm going to far out when asking of you to do this then let me remind you: You are so sceptical and paranoid that you belive that entier goverments are plotting huge conspiracies to hold something trivial like earth being round a secret, explain why they would do this by something that is funny to say at least, and base your theories on it. So i think you can accept me being sceptical when you throw out explanation like this and not even care to illustrate it in any way. cheers
