Raising money for a flat-earth endeavor whips roundies into a frothing rage the likes of which tames hurricanes. They simply CANNOT live in a world where you try and fund scientific research for a flat-earth. Multiple people threatened lawsuits on grounds of fraud and threatened to contact local and federal law enforcement authorities in an attempt to get them to prosecute me. For all I am aware, they did contact these authorities.

I'm not sure you would know the truth if it slapped you in the face. I don't think the majority of you could actually handle the truth never having dealt with it before.
I do know this juicy little tidbit of truth...

You were born dickless and remain so to this very day.

Please stay on topic, Totallackey.

I tried a crowdfunding campaign a couples years ago. Not only did it not raise "a few million dollars," but there were daily threats of lawsuits. It's really not as simple as everyone seems to think it is.

Why were people threatening lawsuits?

Reading this and other posts from the flat earthers trying to organise an expedition to investigate 'the goings on in Antartica' is hilarious, when all you have to do is book on-line or contact a travel agent.
The idea that the authorities are keeping an eye on flat earthers such as Pongo really does take the paranoid biscuit.
Ps. You might want to check under your bed at night....you can never be too careful with those men in black.

Pongo I am going to have to ask for proof that a few million was crowdfunded.

We struggled to get enough funding for a structural analysis model of wtc 7, it's not easy unless people really care.

If we started a business as "climate change researchers." I think we could get access to Antarctica. I also want to know what is really going on there.

I am not so sure we have been told the truth about everything going on there.
Please read the post again.

Yeah skimming it was a mistake, my bad. Sorry.

I did propose an expedition around Antarctica for 10 members of this Forum - 5R & 5F (to be recorded and documented).
I will take care of half of the expenses
But, I didn't receive any serious responses from the members!
Maybe both sides are afraid to find out the truth!

I did not see a suggestion. Omg are you rich? How could you manage to be rich. Can you have made a fraud? My thoughts about you started to change. Honest man can not be rich. If you are affording this cost then it means that you are not honest. Are you deceving us? I'm asking this question honestly.

You know; I don't really like extremists (right or left) - they usually take a case and generalize it!

And yes, I'm rich - If you don't mind!
And I have worked hard all my life to be what I am now!
In fact; I just signed today a 3 million Dollar contract with a petroleum company to construct a solar power station near one of their oil fields!

So what, and why would that upset you?
You haven't made it through life yet, or is it a matter of weak faith & belief?

And you can only reach where I've reached if your honest - with God, with yourself and with the people around you!
You can ask the 320 families I support & get paid their salaries from me on time at the end of every month!

And I shall find a way to go there - with or without you guys!
It's a once in a life time offer, and it's up to you!

We were proposing chartering a boat and going on an expedition to Antarctica. Not going to one of the pre-approved vacation destinations.

I'm even thinking on a long-term investment now!

Instead of paying to a touring agency to take a group(God knows where), and maybe not reach our target; in which would cost between $10,000 - $25,000 per person > I thought of buying a used research vessel, ice classed, and hire a full crew instead!

I started making some contacts, and saw some pretty good deals, so far, ranging from $65,000 - $250,000 and more!

This baby is a used Steel Research - Expedition - Survey Vessel For Sale. Refit in 2012. 17 berths - in 2012 rebuilt 4 x new luxury cabins with "en suite" facilities. 10 kn on only 1 ts Fuel. Vessel has commercial yacht license to sail with 12 pass Panama flag.
April 16 completed dry-docking with blasting and 2 part painting system, etc.Bow thruster available at extra $!
It's on a reduced price now for $225,000

I'm checking more deals and shall update you...

Trust will be established and become sold when we reach our destination!

If our trip around Antarctica ends up in a doughnut > we raise the globe flag!  ;D

But, if we sail with nothing but high walls of ice on our side (either side), then the world is in trouble > hey, maybe we'll be the cause of WWIII!

Sh!t, I never thought of that possibility... ???

I had a passport at one time, shouldn't be too hard to get another one.

You need more than a passport to do it Son - you need the guts to do it!

I thought of it this way; Only two things can prove the shape of the earth - space & Antarctica!
Space, as you all know, is off-limits & off our capabilities as individuals, and Antarctica will remain the ONLY possible way of settling this issue, once and for ever!

Until few months ago, the issue of earth being flat or a globe, had never bothered me, because of the general acceptance of the shape as a spinning globe was an absolute fact in our minds, as we've been taught at school.
Then I noticed the rejection of this idea is much wider to be just some individuals' opinion on the subject, but rather a much deeper issue than we'd thought!

I'm not gonna get upset or even commit suicide if earth turned out to be flat or remained a ball, or if the fact would change anything in my life, but I think if it turned out to be other than what we've been told > that definitely will raise a lot of questions about almost EVERYTHING!

They say it can be done and there are no restrictions, so let's prove them right or wrong!

There's a treaty in place for years to guard Antarctic. Why do you think no one lives there, besides the cold? Multiple governments keep the secret, well a secret. It would be like saying "well we'll save a lot of money, buy guns and armour, then we will for sure take over the white house or whatever government. "

Why don't you crowdfund enough money to PROVE it.  Raise of few million dollars.  Take an expedition to the edge of the earth.  This really wouldn't be that hard to raise since their are quite a few people who would LOVE to prove the earth is flat once and for all.

Even though you all believe it is faked... we have taken pictures from space, walked on the moon, etc... etc... etc...

If you guys were to crowdfund enough money to prove your side, it would end all of this nonsense once and for all.  You guys would literally be some of the most famous people of all time.

I do know the answer as to why you guys don't do this.  Because your YouTube videos is your cash cow, and you guys don't want to "kill the goose that laid the golden egg" or to use a biblical reference they would "kill the fatted calf"

This is the last thing Eric Dubay would want.  He is living a pretty nice life.

So, I'm not the only crazy guy who would want to plan a trip there!

What is the point of going to Antarctica?
You will just see a mass of ice.
Why don’t you instead travel around the world with a analytical balance and measure the mass of a cube of iron and a bunch of other materials. You will see that the measure value varies depending on how close you are to the equator.
