What problems or risks do you foresee?
Finding unindoctrinated scientists and crew willing to go on this expedition.  There is also many inherent dangers in going into such extreme environments.  There is also a real risk of health concerns when approaching the rim.

•   Can you please let us know how many scientists you've approached thus far about accompanying your expedition Pongo?

•   Can you also name any scientists who've agreed (potentially or as a possibility) to do so?  (Either flat or round earth?)

•   Could you also tell us the reasons why—specifically—that those that refused to partake did so?

•   Finally, could you please tell us what you mean—in flat earth terms—by the word "unindoctrinated"?  Does it have the meaning of "believe that the earth is flat"?

Geoff,

I am still willing to go. Physics and Applied Math degrees. Veteran of several labs.

Unfortunately Donald, by letting them know you're more than well qualified in the sciences, you've inadvertently excluded yourself from their choice of participants.  You're what the flat earthers term an "indoctrinated scientist" and as such there's no way they'll let you be party to their research—because you'll distort all their "evidence", deny that you actually "saw" their ice wall or you'll later claim they paid you to lie.  They'll also say you're simply pandering to your controllers at the New World Order headquarters, in order to provide even more disinformation for them to disseminate.

And physics and maths are both anathema to the flat earth cause.  Sorry mate.    :P

By the time you'll have that insane amount of money together I'll have my Masters in Environmental Sciences, meaning a year of physics, 4 years of math culminating in advanced Calculus and 4 years of Chemistry and Biology. I'd be happy to go and keep an open mind.

Where do I sign up?

•   Do you believe that you'll eventually find a scientist (or scientists) who won't have any prejudice against the notion of a flat earth?

You have not contacted any scientists, how exactly do you expect to have anyone apply?  If you guys are serious you need to look into a kicksarter campaign and contact Dolby.

Can you please clarify what you mean by "when the time comes" Pongo?  Are you talking about a specific time period—6 months? a year? 5 years?—or such a time as you've raised sufficient funding to call for applicants and pay for their services?

I agree.  As I've mentioned before, Dolby has a personal wealth of around $40 million, so he'd be a certainty to donate a decent amount—if not the entire amount.  Particularly considering he's the FES's #1 member.

I'm guessing though that as has happened—or not happened—in the past, the flat earthers won't acknowledge whether or not they've actually contacted Dolby about their expedition.

So flat earthers... have you contacted Dolby or not?  A simple yes or no will do.

I may have to look into a kickstarter or similar campaign. If enough is raised then I donate it to the FES. A more modest proposal with realistic goals.

Simple maths tells me that if only $1,300 has been raised in nearly 12 months, then it's gonna take the flat earthers approximately 3,077 years to enable the expedition to be fully funded.  And even if it was $13,000 raised in 12 months, it'll still take 308 years to fund.

Ergo, this proposed flat earth "expedition will never take place.    :P

My friends, the simplest and cheapest way to prove or disprove the Flat Earth hypothesis is simply to fly a plane over the putative South Pole. An Airbus can be rented to fly from South America to Australia for less than $200,000 and over this amount has already been collected, to my understanding. The only limitation to this flight would be the Antarctic Treaty which was specifically designed to prevent just this sort of experiment. However, I have friends that assure me that the US Military will NOT shoot us down if we make sure a flight using LIVESTREAM video. Too much bad publicity for the Illuminati Globalists to actually kill explorers looking to test the Flat/Round earth theories. I can also contribute $10,000-$20,000 and have experience in multiple relevant fields, am a PhD researcher & Professor at an Ivy League University, and am quite well connected to make this flight happen. Please email me at [email protected] for additional information. Sincerely, Jim

Also, if money is an issue, it is simple to solve. Just sell $1,000 tickets on the Airbus that will fly over the South Pole. If you sell more than 200 tickets you will actually make a large profit should the Flat Earth model be incorrect, but if it is correct you will change every understanding of our world. I personally have become quite convinced of the indirect data in support of the Flat World hypothesis, but only a flight over the "SouthPole"/Outer Wall of our world will prove definite evidence one way or the other. Once we hit 200 people each willing to pay $1,000 each, then we will be ready to fly. So, anyone interested in going? Email me at [email protected]
Best,
Jim

Sorry my friend, you are confused. The rotational movement of the stars around Polaris should ONLY be visible at the exact North Pole, not all over the Northern hemisphere, you have been brainwashed by Satanists from birth.  The movement of the stars only makes any sense with a flat Earth model. But I am not here to debate, I am here to organize a flight out of this artificial Earth prison we exist in.  Would you like to join me brother?  If you are right then we will land in Australia, and I will admit I was wrong, but if I am right, I will make you immortal...

I see you have the spatial reasoning of a flat earther, on a round Earth you would have a ~180 degree field of view of the stars and considering that the poles are exactaly opisite of each other it's impossible to not see one of the polar rotation points from everywhere on Earth so long as you have a clear 189 degree view and you are not exactaly on the equator.

I might go on your expedition just to see your priceless faces when you find yourself on the other side of Antarctica and hear your insane explenations for the motion if the southern stars.

lol, you are so childish.  You think the stars can be seen rotating like a pinwheel while flying hundreds of miles per hour and viewing through a window with a 2 degree view.  Maybe, they will see unicorns and Thor and Vauxhall's fairies while they are up there, lol.  You are the most childish roundy I can ever remember meeting.

Maybe childish in the way that even a child can look out the window and see the circular motion of stars. Is it that difficult to grasp the concept, jroa?

I have been looking at the stars for most of the night, every time I go outside for a smoke.  I have never once noticed them moving in circles.  Admittedly, I can't see a lot of stars tonight, but the ones I see do not appear to be moving in circles.  Perhaps you are trying to claim that the stars seen in an airplane can clearly be seen moving in circles?  Or, maybe you roundies are just flat out lying again?  I have not made up my mind yet.
