I can see exactly where this proposed expedition idea is heading Arath.
The flat earthers agree to mount a suitably equipped expedition to the South Pole/ice wall, and quite correctly claim that it needs serious funding.
But... they set their funding target at a virtually unattainable figure. They want $4 million in donations! No government grants; no subsidies from related suppliers/industries; and only a mere $1300 from flat earth members themselves.
So... eventually, after a sufficient period of time elapses, the flat earthers say that due to not reaching a sufficient level of funding, that is, 4 million bucks, they have to abandon their proposed expedition... damn!
Additionally, the mere fact that they were fully prepared to mount an expedition with the intent of proving the existence of the ice wall (and hence a flat earth) shows they were sincere, and heck, who knows, the ice wall may well exist. It's just that we couldn't nail the final proof, but gee, we came close. And because of our sincere intentions, we would've definitely proved its existence if we had've actually mounted the expedition. The fact we couldn't quite raise the funding really pissed us off too, but we couldn't help that.
The fact that ultimately, our expedition didn't take place, shouldn't be a reason to discount the fact of an ice wall existing at the perimeter of the flat earth. We still believe that it does, and it's more than likely that we'll be mounting another expedition in the near future to prove it once and for all.
