I don't think that x/0=∞. That is not how the concept of infinity is defined.
true x/0 is technically undefined, but let me show you something.
1/.1=10
1/.01=100
1/.001=1000
1/.0001=10000
1/.000000000001=1000000000000
do you see what is going on here? as the number in the denominator gets smaller the answer gets larger. ∞ is arbitrary it can never be reached. therefore the LIMIT of x/0 is ∞, but also -∞
because 1/-.00001=-10000
so the limit of x/0 is ∞ and -∞ this is why it is undefined.
then it would be undefined=undefined, still the point to this post is I found this in an old Logic textbook as an example.
if 1=0 then earth is flat
earth is round
so 1=/=0
