Sucks when someone dafets you.

Trolling accusations are due to your apparent incompetence. You should probably prefer to be called a troll rather than the alternative.

I apologize in advance for not ignoring him but this is the last time I will respond.

North and South America along with Australia are defined as continents. Whether you think they are made up of islands or not is irrelevent. They are continents. You can't change the fact that they are defined as continents. If you want to be an idiot and think they are groups of islands that is fine, but that group of islands is a continent. Just like how the islands north of Canada are grouped together and called a country along with Canada. The group of islands that we call North America are all grouped together and called a continent.

As for your stupid thoughts abotu Uranus and Neptune: The scientists who made up the rules for what defines a planet decided that U and N follow these rules. It doesn't matter what you think. If the people who made up the rules have decided that something follows the rules then it does. Your opinion is irrelevent. They are planets.

I thought I would just pack it all in here together because I am done talking to you. You can respond to this message if you like but I am going to ignore you from now on. I think you are a terribly obvious troll or a moron and I will now go and debate with people who can understand basic concepts.

I dont care that they are defined as continents. They are not continents and should be demoted of there status, why do you wish to live in ignorance? I dont see what the islands north of Canada as a country has to do with anything. They are geographically islands. Country is the goverment having nothing to do with its defanition

First, my knowledge on them isnt stupit there the flippin truth. Those scientists made a big mistake and I feel it is my duty to change this defanition. You are undermining me as a scientist I can rise through the ranks and help change it and convince there pathetic minds. This is a prime example for why I see you as nothing but a complete and total moron

Excelsior, that is the craziest thing I have ever heard. North and South America are indeed continents. There is no evidence, in RE or FE Theories, that indicate otherwise. Calling them islands off the coast of Asia is absurd. In fact, in Latin America, there are only six continents, because North and South America are frequently designated as ONE continent, since if the Panama Canal did not exist, one could walk from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego without ever touching water. And the Panama Canal is man-made. I have even occasionally heard that there are five continents, because Asia and Europe get designated as Eurasia. But calling North and South America (whether they are one or two continents) islands is absolutely and completely absurd in the extreme. I am sympathetic to FET, but there are limits, and that is one of them. In the USA, we are taught that there are seven continents, as opposed to six, which is what Latin American kids learn at school. But in both cases, North and South America are (a) continent(s).

That is wrong ive alredey made a root that shows that you cannot reach Alaska because it is cutoff by water. And the Americas are connected to the Asian landmass and most of northern canada is nothing but islands. Why is it that Japan can be considered an Asian island but not the Americas?

Alright, I'm willing to consider a lot of divergent views, but calling Northern Canada 'a bunch of islands' is absurd! What do you consider northern? Most of us would include a good part of Alaska (most of the state) and the portion of Canada next to it. If you are only including that part that lies north of the Arctic Circle, you are certainly welcome to your opinion, but be advised that it goes against what most of us learn in geography. If you are going to call the Americas (each one of which, North and South, is larger than Australia, which is also a continent) islands, what does that make Europe, which is part of the Eurasian landmass? What about Greenland? If you want to redefine the word 'continent', that is your personal business, but don't expect the rest of us to agree with something so patently ridiculous. I have tried to keep a level head, when I disagree with Rounders or Flatters, but I do NOT take kindly to having my intelligence insulted. Please endeavour to avoid doing so in future.

REPhoenix, greeting! I have encountered many strange ideas in my life, over years of travelling and living in different states and countries. Different cultures view the world with unique perspectives, as, for example, Latin Americans being taught that America is one continent rather than two. I have encountered many different ideas in my day. FET actually has some things going for it, in my opinion. I'm even willing to consider that it might be true. But this idea that America is not a continent, well, that just takes the taco in terms of being complely insane. He actually expects us to take that sitting down? Really?  I can recommend him some good psychiatrists if he tells me where he lives.

I didnt say Americas an island. I said its a SET of islands. An island that big would certaintley be more than an island

All of the Americas are a set of islands part of the Asian landmass

Because Japan is an island. Its still part of the Asian landmass though just like the Americas

Yaakov please acept that I have difrent views insted of jumping on me about it like everyone else here because you were on a pretty good role. Second look at my river thread in Alt Science section where I have analyzed it. Evidence has shown that they are in fact islands that are connected to the Asian landmass and do not deserve continentle status. If you have questions please ask. As for payout comment on Australia I see it as a continent neither. It is an island part of Asia and besides Antartica there are only three continents: Europe Asia and Africa. Europe is seperated by two main factors: the Don River cuts it into two and and the Ural Mountains give a physical boundery. Also Greenland is a North American (which in that case makes it Asian) island it is part of the landmass. And im not rely redefining continent im just bringing it back to its root which means "continous land". "Platantley rediculous": look if you dont want to agree with my view thats fine im just saying look at the evidence. And how am I insulting your flippin inteligence?! Ive alredey presented this view back in August and im not trying to "insult your inteligence" jeez. And dont put my other views in the way of FET this is side stuff

In another effort to lighten up this thread I think The Flat Earth Society has admitted they are not as adept or have the manpower and skills as The National Geographic Society or Rand-Mc Nally  in making maps.
Not to mention that we still need to develop a way of mapping that does not rely on GPS or sextants.

Weather balloons to take pictures of the coastline.  Thousands of possibilities when it comes to drawing it - AutoCAD, SketchUp, openstreetmap.org, mapbox.

Your resources are INFINITE practically. And you don't have to rely on pencil and paper. You can draw full-scale!

Ok, I thought that denying continents took the taco for insane. But he even surpasses that! The towers never existed?! Dude, that takes 2 tacos, but not for insanity. Rather, for willful stupidity. I am as zetetic as anybody else, but the fact that I personally know people that have seen and been inside the towers (when they existed) makes it clear that that line of conversation isn't worth pursuing. I am willing to consider scientific arguments proposing that the Earth is flat. I am NOT willing to redefine words like 'continent' and 'island'. I am also not inclined to insult the memory of over 3000 people who died to entertain the thought that 2 of the largest buildings in the world never existed! I'm sorry, Excelsior, but that is either blatant stupidity or you are smoking some good s--t! And, yes, I do consider myself zetetic. In all of this, that's the one thing you've said about and to me that is correct. Thank you. As far as 9/11 happening, yes, it did. I believe it was an inside job, and I've

got good reason for that view. But denying it altogether is obscene. And, I don't mean to be harsh, but Dude, use the spell-check on the FES website before submitting your posts, ok? You will come across sounding more intelligent. Not trying to be nasty, just offering a bit of constructive criticism. I know orthography isn't everybody's strength.

Listen bro: I have given much evidence and I have even more in my rivers thread so dont be so close minded and call me stupit. And the towers were simpeley an ilusion and im not redefining continent im just fixing the definition. And second of all no people died in 9/11 they were just actors it was an elaborete hoax to start a war. It is not blantantley stupit its my beleif learn to acept that other people have difrent beleifs. Beleif in FET has caused me to be more zetetic and you cant stop it. And im not smoking I dont waste my time on drugs

If you are using a regular computer, the website has an embedded spell-check program that underlines all misspelled words in red. If you are on a regular cell-phone, the mobile version of the site does not have that feature. I'm not sure about smartphones or other devices. As for continents and 9/11, I suggest a change in topic. No one in their right mind will agree with you. Lets just stick to FET. Fair enough?

Yes I would like to stick to FET rather than let my other thoerys get in the way of it. People keep on bringing them up but I would rather us bring continents up in my rivers thread in alt science. But yes I would rather us debate in the apropiate fora
