I didn't say it was Bush's fault. I said that had the USA had offshore industry regulations comparable to other countries, the Gulf would still be clean right now.
Sweet....if there is already a preventive measure to keep this from happening I say all oil platforms should be shut down until retrofitted with the proper saftey devices.
I think it would be better to get out of oil entirely (domestic and foreign).

Why did Obama support Boston Professor Louis Gates?
Because Professor Gates is another uncle tom who specializes in trashing afrocentrists such as Tony Martin, Farrakhan, and others. Everyone who knows the Boston police are racist even as far as police departments go. That whole affair was rigged to make both Obama and Gates appear like battle scarred freedom fighters, but Gates was selected for the role because he is subservient to the establishment.
I have lived in New Orleans since the 1970's, and the Katrina era has been an era of the loss of black political power in this region. I know and respect Congressman William Jefferson. I went to grammar school with his daughters. He was the first black US Congressman from Louisiana since reconstuction, but (unlike the 1960's and 1970's) there are definite regressive political trends these days. Jefferson is now in prison, and the media has completely brainwashed the white population to think he is corrupt and hate him, but his whole deal was to facilitate shortwave radios for poor people in Brazil and west Africa. So what if he had money in his freezer? I don't trust banks too much either. If the money was earmarked and handed to him by an FBI agent, then that means that the racist FBI had decided to somehow take him down just like it did to Marcus Garvey when Hoover wrote in 1924 that if they keep searching they can eventually find some pretext to arrest Garvey, and the FBI has not essentially changed since the days of Hoover, and the dog returns to its vomit.
Now, of course you have people like Glenn Beck (who is so much like Goebbels) who criticize Obama with a completely different agenda in mind. They do make some legitimate criticisms, but if you listen to the other things they say, then their fascist agenda is very obvious.
Although Stalin was a brutal capitalist who used Marxist rhetoric, the Soviet Union actually had a benevolent influence upon the United States. Stalin and especially his successors had it largely right as far as their message to oppressed peoples in foreign dominated lands (it should be noted that such a policy fit
their political objectives) while their oppressed their own people. The influence of the Soviet Union can be seen in the good aspects of the New Deal and the civil rights movement.
Franklin Roosevelt was permitted to be president by Morgan and company because the role he played was that of calming dissent and thus controlling it by deferring to it to some extent. The whole point is to prevent a revolution or overthrow of the system. This is the same thing that Khruschev's anti-Stalinism of the 1950's was all about. "Democrats" like Lyndon Johnson, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama serve the same purpose that Roosevelt did.
Just like Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are puppets of the wealthy. Just like Joseph Stalin and George Bush, Barack Obama speaks to people one way but acts for his employers in another way.
It is interesting that the rise of neoconservsatism including but not limited to the expansion of a domestic american police state and american imperialism, the scaling back of black political power have occurred since the fall of the Soviet Union.
