Just saying, I visited an observatory once, and they shot a laser towards the moon, and it was aimed at a reflective panel left there from the apollo missions. We could all see the moniter display the light beam returning two seconds later. Does this mean they were just pushing us for money? Because that seems pretty convincing to me.

(By the way, if the moon landing was a hoax, why fake it six times? And did they trick thier own scientists with moon rocks?)

FET is the default

Ad Populum now? Pointing out the fallacies in FET is fun.

Ad populum is probably the worst fallacy, considering about 10 people actually believe the Earth is flat.
I never claimed it was due to the numer of supporters. Fail less, please.

I beg your pardon, O Master of Not Failing Ever.

And by claiming that FET is the default, you imply it is most commonly accepted.  Hence ad populum.

Trolling makes me angry.

FET is the default, RET is the claim away from direct observation. It requires the evidence.

What about the over 500 people who directly observed a round earth from outer space?

1) They use water (or some fast hardening liquid at the end of each splice to keep things in place. I don't know what a vomit comment is so explain it or don't bring it up.
2) How do you know what space suits they use the general public thinks they use the stereotypical helmet boot combo, you can't question what they use because they are the only authority on it. They can freeze if they make a suit for freezing.
3)apathetic is exactly what I meant(the second definition) People don't care about Photoshop.
4) Avatar wasn't that good. And they did not spend all the money making the movie on the technology to make the movie.
5) The picture is completely unrelated to the last point. It shows how little people care about photo shop when you can get the same message accross in paint  because no one gives a damn.(Besides thats BRIKROYSTER in the Background.) Things that you care about, that aren't just generally purposeless are easy to fake.

I now this post is a bit back in the discussion, But I have to comment.

Photoshop is a huge success & very popular I have owned every copy since cs3, I also buy plug ins
and other programs like c4d.

Now I was waiting for adobe cs5 to come out like a million other people, $1,899 is the price tag
a non popular product could not have that price tag.

c4d cost me a lot more, There are countless websites with many members
devoted to it.

photoshop is extremely popular for business & personal use & at $1,899  ×  1,000,000
they make good money.

You can not use paint to do what photoshop can.

which you will see when I am done my sig & avatar.

Do not say people don't care, Because people love it
& next to games is the most used program.

I have to say again paint is not photoshop & you obviously have no knowledge of it
or whos using it, So don't use it in your argument.

I have gone to space, and seen the Earth is flat. Watch the six star wars films, it shows documentation of me being in space.

Not irrelivent. If you're too old you're probably senile, delusional, or some other mental breakdown that happens with age.

I vote delusional myself.

If it's irrelevant, then it's not very good documentation.

The view of the Earth from space should be similar to that of a Round Earth from space due to aether eddies affecting our view.  The effect is more obvious at higher altitudes but one can see it easily simply by watching a ship sink on the horizon.

What experiments have been done to verify that these "aether eddies" are in fact the cause of such effects?

FET dictates that ships do not sink over the horizon. Please see Bedford Level Experiment as performed by Samuel Rowbotham. Samuel Rowbotham is the man who created the Flat Earth Society over a hundred and fifty years ago. Please see Earth: Not a Globe for his original work.

It's convenient how there's something affecting our view, the higher we go, to create the illusion of a round earth.

I beleive the Bedford level experiment simply shows the drop is different than what would be expected given a round earth.

No, The Bedford level experiment shows there is NO drop.

Which is odd since he contradicts himself later on by saying that objects vanish from the bottom up anyway.

He also fails to create a mathematical model for predicting what vanishes at what distance.

Still does not prove that any "aetheric eddies" are responsible for these effects, even if the experiment was accurate.
