Earth's Acceleration
« on: October 25, 2007, 01:29:56 PM »
If the Earth moves at 1g (I have no clue what 1g means) then how can we still see the other planets?  Do they all follow Earth around?

The celestial bodies are also being accelerated by the UA in the common FE theory.

I suggest reading the faq.

I did skim through it but being a RE'er, i don't have the time reading all the details of a myth... a irrational myth at that.

But you had time to make this thread?

Please read the FAQ.

Ok, I re-read that part and found it.  So I guess that the planets don't revolve then.

How did you reach that conclusion from reading about the acceleration of the FE?

Wouldn't the planet's crash if they rotated?

If you were smart, you'd realize the flaw in this statement.

What's funny, is that the point you are making is probably not the one you are intending to make.

The planets wouldn't crash... I just said that because it would be impossible (since it would have happened already) and the rest of the stuff on here is impossible (unless it is proof the earth is round)

I'm asking you to explain your assumption that accelerating, rotating bodies would have crashed into each other by now.

Nope, it's still there. Perhaps you should use that intelligent brain to find it.

You were trying to make a point that the site does not make sense, by not making sense yourself?

What's the flaw?

Besides that terming the Earth round is inaccurate, you claim to know something you can't possibly know without invoking a fallacy. Even if you were to try and avoid that, the simple matter is that it can't be proven.
