So, what you're saying is:

The reason we are in a non-inertial FoR is because gravity constantly accelerates us, although the force in the floor pushing back equalises the gravitational pull so we don't fall into the centre of the earth. So, the Earth's gravitational pull creates a non-inertial FoR in which gravity itself is a fictitious force (when the FoR is taken to be inertial).

Have I got that right?

Outside of using the word gravity at the beginning there, that's exactly it.

The gravitational pull of the Earth is counter-acted by the Earth itself. And, like you said, gravity is a fictitious force that appears when you take a non-inertial FoR to be inertial.

Perhaps we could explain it using an example; see if I truly understand this:

Lets say we are in a lift, the lift has just started accelerating upwards at 9.8m/s2. Now, the Lift is a non-inertial frame of reference, because it is constantly accelerating. But, we look at the inside of the lift. It is not moving relative to us inside it, so we believe it is stationary. We are taking it to be inertial, but it is not.
Now, we realise to our horror that we weigh twice as much as we should, shown by the weighing scales that are for some reason in our lift with us. Since we think the lift is not moving, we think that the increase of apparent weight is an increase in gravitational pull.
No we look out of the window in the lift and see the shaft whizzing past, we realise we are moving and accelerating, so we take it to be non-inertial, and can attribute our increased weight to the lift accelerating upwards and into our feet, pushing us up.

I think that explains at least some aspects of it, I am sure it is far more complex.

1. Acceleration = Gravitation and obviously Gravitation = Acceleration
2. Moon and Sun orbit each other because of gravitation.
3. Climbing a mountain elevates you enough to feel gravitation of sun and moon and stars. (explains weight changes)
4. <insert name here> jumps off a building thus accelerating into the ground. (gravitation)
5. Gravitation is a consequence of nature. (No better explained than gravity btw)
6. Observable effects that are attributed to gravity (allegedly fictitious) are explained the same as gravitation .

Thats a collection of FE conclusions found throughout the site. I fail to see how RE has no explanation for what we call gravity if gravitation works. RE is possible in this regard.

Also, if the Earth is accelerating at 9.8 m/sē then the gravitation of the Earth accelerating would pull us down in addition to that.

So regarding the path of the sun and celestial bodies. I'm curious as to how their behavior is explained in the absence of "gravity." What is causing the gravitation force between them?
I've never seen any round earth. Why should I believe in something I've never seen?

We are under constant acceleration. That's what gravitation is. The Earth, as TE pointed out, stops us from going anywhere.

No, the earth is round. Idiot.

But UA, hell no.

You don't need to be attached to the DE (UA, sort of), just in contact with it.
