Hey guys. My name is Raye and I've been an avid believer that our earth is flat for quite a few years now. I have felt so afraid to tell people in the past about my beliefs because I thought they would think I'k crazy or something but I feel so blessed to have found this community. You people are amazing!

So, the point in my question...What are some amazing facts about our Earth being flat that just blow you away, or how drastically they differ from what the brainwashed round Earth believers understand to be the truth? Like, what facts make you think "wow! That just blows my mind!"?

The thing that blows my mind is the fact that the brainwashing has such a hold of the populace. A flatearther is considered crazy, eventhough he is correct. One of the facts of the case, NASA space missions are a fraud. People seem to believe what NASA says no matter how outrageous their claim.

I know exactly what you mean! Every time I see footage from their "space missions" I really do think it is simply just CGI. Thanks you for the information.

Just one thing that "wow! That just blows my mind" about the flat earth is this.:

The most amazing fact about the FE is that most (if not all) FEers repeat the same thing: people were brainwashed and/or are unable to open their mind and think on their own.

I have opened my mind on this forum vs the FE model the moment I joined it for some serious discussion about few simple things regarding FE model.  It turned out FEers who are present here did not care to give any reasonable answer, spammed threads and provided irrelevant stuff. And this blows my mind up to this day. See my signature for some samples.

Wrong.  It shows we are rotating and the stars are extremely distant.  The fact that the same thing can be observed in the South shows that the world is round.

Explain 2 fixed points of rotation observed with 180 degree lens at the equator.

The thing that amazes me the most about the people that believe the earth is flat is that still believe it even after it has been proved wrong using a simple bit of evidence everyone can see, the stars.

What I find amazing is that , this is just an observation on my part, people who believe in a flat earth tend to not have logical debating skills. They are illogical in other areas outside of the flat earth subject. At least on the forum. I could name four off the top of my head that could really use a debate class, or even a fourth grade physics class. Better yet, a 101 class on logic.

There is not the slightest problem with having "pole star stationery (sic) in the centre but the other stars rotating round it" on a globe.

But, in the Southern Hemisphere the stars in the night also rotate around a seemingly fixed point - the South Celestial Pole.  We are not fortunate enough to have a bright pole star, but we have the "Southern Cross" that rotates around this central point.  What is more the location of the the South Celestial Pole can be seen by all countries in the Southern Hemisphere.

Why do we have no pictures of the earth that are not composites and the ones they say are true have been proven not to be. Why does all the imagery of the sun look fake as fuck. Why have we never been back to the moon in over 40 years, yet they say we can now go to Mars. Hollywood looks more convincing than nasa's footage. I foresee the time coming when they will be releasing convincing footage due to advances in film making but it's too late, we should have it now!

Thanks for the link rabinoz. I will check it often and compare to local cloud patterns over my local area which luckily, is front and center in these alleged photographs. I am not hardline FE and would actually like to discover that the system is truthful. One point I would like to raise is that for a satellite to be able to photograph the entire globe it would have to be an incredible distance from earth in orbit. This is not what we are told. Can an object as small as a satellite be held in orbit from such a vast distance?

It can. All it matters is how fast it moves along its orbit and how far you want to place it. Then simple laws of physics and math can give you the answer.

For instance, geostationary orbit (~35km away from the sufrace):

The other example is L₁ (Lagrange point - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagrangian_point). In that case you can have a satellite 1.5m km away from the Earth. DSCOVR is there (http://www.nesdis.noaa.gov/DSCOVR/) and gives a an image of the Earth from a single shot.

One more question about the above alleged photos. They are perfectly round. How come that annoying dick, Neil Degrasse Tyson has been saying that the earth is actually "a little chubby" in his own words. Should we be disregarding what this astrophysicist is saying. A bit of consistency please!

The Earth has a very slight bulge at the equator, although this is measurable, its not something you would actualy see with your eyes.

Perfectly?  You've measured them?  the amount that the Earth varies from a sphere is less than 1%.  It can be measured but you are unlikely to see it with the naked eye.

Because the circumference around the equator is 40,075 km and the circumference through the poles is 40,008 km.  they've measured it.  That is how they know.

Then you'd be wrong.  The "pear shape" is an even lesser effect where the southern hemisphere has a slightly larger radius from teh North by about a kilometer.  Even harder to see with the naked eye but again able to be measured.

What about a little honesty from the flat earth community, both here and on Youtube!  This fragment from Neil deGrasse Tyson is shamelessly taken out of context and used to ridicule the globe.  You call him that "annoying dick, Neil Degrasse Tyson".  Annoying it what way!
