Flat Earth Q&A / The 'penguins'

Any Flat Earther who says they believe this robot penguin thing is probably not really a flat earther, but instead an immature Round Earther trying to poke fun at our community by making us look crazy.

Probably because you are.

I don't see it. When I go up on a tall building or mountain, I can't tell if the Earth is Flat or round just by looking at it. This is a bullshit answer. We want someone who has gone to space and has seen the Earth as a Flat disc and has taken a picture of it.

But no, you're never gonna find someone like that. Because the don't exist.

Take a picture from a tall building or mountain that you think makes the world seem round. I don't believe you.

ok well if you take this picture.. first off during the day.. you only have limited sight because of the ROUND sun. and the fact that there are cities everywhere. secondly, you cant do that with a flat earth either. your fraked either way

the directly north one but the problem has already been solved

What I meant was, on another post, you showed a map. A circle with the entire exterior of the circle (the ice wall) saying, south. So once again by going east, you end up going South
Wait, so you're saying that if you built a big rocket powered speedboat on FE, and went directly north, you'd end up going south?? On RE if you went East, you'd end up IN the west, but would still be travelling east.
the first one

Then get a quick start. Remember clean your sink first, you don't know what and who's been in that thing.

So are you saying that once a day, the water rotates a different direction?

Flat Earth Q&A / Plugs
« on: January 10, 2007, 08:31:41 AM »
there are a lot of factors involved... like when you move the sink, was it damaged? Secondly, the wind, temperature, gravitational pull. All of these are factors in trying to figure out what the frak is going on.

actually.. if you get too much arc, you will just end up pissing in your mouth, so heres what you do, piss straight into the drain.

what if you have a square sink? then you will just be pissin on walls and it might just shoot back at you

Sorry, what do you mean by this exactly, I just went an looked in the sink, it was going clockwise. Are you suggesting its random? Why does it rotate at all?

Also new question. The moon. It is too a 2D, flat planet similar to the earth, then how come the various craters and patterning on it changes.

What he meant is there is almost no way of testing this theory because of the very little gravitational force exerted upon the sink. Its such a small amount that it would make almost no change. Your sink is going clockwise. if you want to test it, go to brazil and check their sinks.

I  am pretty sure that they have tested that and its false. From what I remember at least, I havent looked it up. So don't quote me on it.

Flat Earth Q&A / Conspiracy as a logical trap.
« on: January 10, 2007, 07:58:42 AM »
Look, this is all pointless, there is no way you can prove that the earth is flat nor round. This will be a debate for ages. Its like a debate of whether god exists. There is no way you can prove it or disprove it and even with people saying "well god did this" there will always be other people saying "no he didn't" or have another explanation on why he exists or why he doesn't.

That is why one cannot ever hope to notice the curvature of the earth by just looking at the horizon; it is negligible.  The Earth is huge, and we are not.

I don't know about you but I'm pretty huge. Ha sorry first thing that came to mind when I read That

Yeah you can sail on the FE model. All it is is a big circle. Just imagine all the land masses like an island.

Ah, Are you ready for this. If it was "So Confidential" and you we're kicked out of the naval fleet for it, you probably wouldn't be here. Most likely in jail. And the Fact that you say that you went there, came back, told people, and told us especially, jesus man. You think we are that stupid?

It takes the sun 24 hours to do one lap of the flat earth, this is true no matter where the sun is (e.g. either on of the tropics, the equator). When it is the southern hemisphere's summer the sun is travelling faster than when it is the northern hemisphere's summer.

Proof of this?

You're joking right?

Okay, here's my proof - hold onto your hat:

There are 24 hours in a day.
The sun does a lap per day.
Therefore it takes 24 hours for the sun to do a lap.

Well if the earth is flat. It's a big circle. And the sun cant rotate in really an X,Y,Z pattern because it just goes in a circle. Does the sun get closer and farther depending on the time of year? There will always be sunlight all over the earth because it does not get to the under parts of the "Flat-Earth"

No you wouldn't, if you went East you would end up heading... East! Just like your magical round earth our longitudes (the ones that wrap around the earth from east to west or west to east) are circles.

What I meant was, on another post, you showed a map. A circle with the entire exterior of the circle (the ice wall) saying, south. So once again by going east, you end up going South

Flat Earth Q&A / South... Always?
« on: January 10, 2007, 06:15:37 AM »
One thing I am wondering, and have been since I started reading this site. You FE'ers keep saying we have to go south to the Ice Wall correct? and the Ice Wall goes all the way around correct? so technically there is no direction. Except south. You go north but you will only end up going south again. So direction doesnt exist. You go East but you end up going South. This makes no sense. And in the RE theory. The earth is 360 degrees so if you make the argument that you keep going south with RE, then you are an idiot.
