And how much of that 30 feet was fully usable space to launch a tomahawk missile by compressed air. Then for that missile to ignite once out of the water , then onto it's target?

You see, these tomahawk missiles actually leave the water, already ignited. Any idea how this magic happens. I'm open to suggestions from experts.
Also, what I would like to know, as an outside thought. These things are rockets, so shouldn't they work on the same basis as a space rocket? You know...not needing to use the atmosphere to work?

The missiles are stored and launched from pressurized canisters. They are over 20 feet in length with the booster and are jet engine powered.

Why do you think they are not capable of being ignited in the water?

Please explain, in childlike terms, what you don't understand?

At a guess, how deep would you say the hull was? I mean you've obviously toured it so you must be able to guess.
I mean a school teacher could guess the height of a ceiling to floor, roughly. I'm sure you can estimate roughly.

30 feet, I would guess.

Though not sure at all that that proves.

That red spot on Jupiter is a storm, like a hurricane. It's been going on for a very long time and the spot is actually shrinking.

You can see this for yourself in a telescope. But I doubt you'd want to because it's much easier to deny things on your computer screen than to go out in reality and test them for yourself, right?

A storm is it. A perfect storm, obviously. I mean a perfectly shrinking storm that keeps showing it's same eye then?
The colours are made by?...what?

You can see it for yourself with a telescope. Why not try it?

You claim to seek truth but you seem unwilling to actually look to the sky for information.

The colors you observe on Jupiter are caused by chemical reactions. While it's mostly hydrogen and helium there are other chemicals in the system and the storms on the planet circulate them and form the colors you see. The patterns change over time and can, again, be observed by you with a telescope.

If I said I was a school teacher and you asked me how high the ceilings were in my classroom and I didn't know.....would that mean I'm not a school teacher?

You're not willing to give me any details to back up your claim and can't recall anything about the subs dimensions. It reeks, to me.

I can give plenty of details. I just don't know the height of the hull.

The Louisville is a Los Angeles class submarine. It is a nuclear powered submarine. I believe it weighs over 6000 tons and is 350 feet long. That's the best I can do with structural info off the top of my head.

It is typically stationed in San Diego. In the Gulf War we traveled from San Diego to the Gulf in the sub and the Louisville was the first sub to launch a Tomahawk on Iraq.

Didn't you get any low down on the sub you were on. You know , like people do if they go onto a craft. They get briefed on it and take a course on how it all works- dimensions, etc. Did they just sling you on it and say, "there's your spot - look at that sceen with blips on." ...?

I did six months of training before being assigned to the sub. You get schooled in every part of the sub and get the "low down" on all of it.

But that doesn't mean that over 20 years later..........every man on the sub is going to remember the hull depth off the top of his head.

Google it then and tell me the depth of the hull minus the conning tower.

I was a radar operator, I didn't design the sub.

I had three years of sub experience. I was in the Navy for 15 total.

These submarine ballistic missiles are another pile of horse manure. Ejected by air pressure from a tube and suddenly jump out of the water - ignite - and off to the target thousands of miles away. What a crock of jelly beans.

I was in the Navy for 15 years. I was stationed on the USS Louisville in the Gulf during Desert Storm. The Louisville was responsible for launching many Tomahawk cruise missiles against Iraq.

But I guess I was just brainwashed into believing I was actually there.

I am one billion percent sure in my mind that the Earth is not a rotating globe. I am also one billion percent sure that gravity and space does not exist in how we are told it does.

For those reasons I have to look at why. I'm starting to see why.

You came up with an opinion.............and then looked for reasons to validate them.

In reality..........you see evidence and form opinions on it. That is how an actual thought process works. Observe something, investigate it, and produce your findings.

You do it the opposite. Decide in your mind something is not right and produce an alternate explanation that doesn't come from observation but from the depths of your own mind.

Don't expend too much energy telling me I'm wrong, prove I'm wrong.

To be brutally honest, the global rotating Earth requires more faith. It's built on absolute fantasy.

There is proof of a global earth. In pictures. From space.

Just because some random crazies believe the pictures to be fake.......doesn't mean they are.

You can see physical proof the earth rotates just by observing the sky. That is how our ancient ancestors did it.

Just because one random crazy believes those lights in the sky to be reflections........doesn't mean they are.

There is actual, empirical evidence of a global earth. Outside of telling people to look out their window..........flat earth has none.

Science never sells theories as fact. That is why they are theories. They get tested again and again. And theories change over time.

You're accusing the science world of something it never does.

The beauty of science is that the fact that it's an open forum where each scientists work is scrutinized and can be argued against. This is the opposite of religion and political think tanks.

Furthermore, what you're accusing science of is what you have done on this forum. Passed off guesses as your facts. The problem lies in the fact you never even attempt to provide any kind of diagrams, tests, experiments, or data.

Any scientific theory in existence can be researched and tested in some capacity. Provide some data for your beliefs before you ridicule other stuff.

Actually, he doesn't at all because anyone that is actually capable of thinking for themselves (something he claims to want everyone can do) can clearly see where and why he is so wrong about every topic he tries to talk about.

Even the most diehard anti-global, anti-nasa people could come in this forum and disagree with scepti.

He contradicts himself without knowing it because he is ignorant. And he blatantly denies any credible evidence even though it would be plainly obvious to an uneducated child that the evidence is proving him wrong.

One of two things must be true....

1. He's crazy. Has some sort of delusions or mental disorder of some type.

2. He knows he is wrong with everything he says on this forum and is just having fun in making stuff up.

I would vote on number 2 but number 1 is certainly possible.

Your proof is silly video evidence by unconditional belief. It's basically like saying, " oh, I saw a kid flying and levitating with no means of holding him up, it's on video so it's true."

Actually, it's not like that at all.

It's a video of a guy making a jump from 128,000 feet..............because he actually did make a jump from 128,000 feet.

You denying it is like seeing a video of a person jumping in a swimming pool and saying it's fake despite there being no evidence to support it.

My logic is by taking the video apart by showing inconsistencies and using common sense to make people aware of how being up that height would kill any human, let alone falling from it.

You haven't taken anything apart. You've expressed opinions and it's plainly obvious to anyone with a brain that you're wrong.
