Does that make me automatically right too? ::)

So what is the relevance in that.  Everyone knows that some people follow because they can't think for themselves or are too lazy to do so, others decide to rise above and question every statement just to find out for themselves.  You don't have to be Sigmund Freud to figure that out.  So you have proven nothing, just stated already known facts about mankind.  This is the very essence of science, to question and make fact which is what brought all of us to this forum to begin with.  I don't for the slightest instance believe in FE, but I like the debate because I respect the fact that everyone is entitled to their own theories about everything.  So you seem to be "preaching to the choir", as they like to say, on this site.  So again I ask, why is this relevant?

These are all false.

1. True

2. True...from a point of view

3. why is this relevant?

4. again, why is this relevant?

5. True, it's made up completely of dense gases

6. True, the Caspian is salt water.  Hmm heard of the great flood?? ;)

7. Whatever...please show relevance

8. yawn

9. Pyramid of Giza

10. yea and Hitler was Austrian....your point?

14. none have good eye site..it's called sonar

15. they are extremely hot....they start to burn up in the atmosphere

16. this is true, we do not operate to our full capacity

17. true

18. and so is it's south pole...hence a magnetic field

19. duh

20. in science, there are no points for second place

21. hmm no relevance here

22. irrelevant

23. might as well say it causes it...

I didn't find any explications to how days work :)

Looking at all this forum, seeing this proofs, experiments and comments they seem so forced, trying to somehow explain everything, conspiracy and stuff... Why are you trying to fake this? The RE model and everything around it is perfect. The stars are globes, the sun is, the moon is, every thing in the space orbits and is a globe, SO WHY THE EARTH IS FLAT?
Why aren't no documentaries about the ice wall, why aren't you going to explore things, why are you staying on a forum, and screaming here? Why don't you all make some money and go into the space and see things for yourself? Why don't you gather some money and hire a plane to go around the earth (with some pro pilot and pro equipment)? Why don't you write about this oficially? The conspiracy? lol.

answer?
It's all a conspiracy, didn't you read the FAQ??  They won't let you get near there to do your research and where are you gonna get the money to do all of that.  Why don't you take the money you could get to do that research and go to school and get an education on grammar and double negatives.  Don't come in here with that uneducated bullshit!   :D Have a nice day

Flat Earth Q&A / How did everyone get here...
« on: August 23, 2007, 12:49:55 PM »
I'm rather curious....everyone probably has a story to tell so i would like to know either how we all found out about this site or became interested in FE to begin with...

explain then how we can see Jupiter with a telescope with such detail whereas we cannot stand at the top of the empire state building and look through a telescope and see the Eiffel Tower....if the world were flat??

17
Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...
« on: August 23, 2007, 09:23:01 AM »
this is absurd...just admit that in the FE model the power of the sun is a lot lower than in the RE model because it's closer to earth.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...

ok i guess you didn't catch my sarcastic tone with "hibernate"

19
Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...
« on: August 23, 2007, 09:11:49 AM »
then how do we also explain that when the northern hemisphere is having summer, the southern hemisphere is having winter...hmmmm care to explain that?

20
Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...
« on: August 23, 2007, 09:10:27 AM »
so the "heat source" decides to hibernate for the winter...not making much sense here....seems to me like RE is winning on this one claiming that the earth is further from the sun during the winter months

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...

I'm still waiting for someone to explain the rest to me...

22
Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...

The sun gets it's energy from the Earth...that's a new one

23
Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...
« on: August 23, 2007, 08:41:19 AM »
ok so check this out...if we were to use the RE model for calculated distance the sun is from the earth and the claimed size of the sun, then by using Einstein's Theory of Relativity and the equation of the speed of light we could assume that those calculations in an RE model are correct.  Also given the amount of energy needed to produce heat and light to a planet at that distance one could, again prove the RE model correct.  However, it is possible to claim the FE model correct by just scaling down the measurements.  So it is probable to conclude that both models are possible.  Except for one little thing here....i would like to hear the FE's theory on planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, etc...  Mercury and Venus, according to RE, orbit the sun in front of us, so where are they in a FE model?  And trust me, you can obviously see Venus and Mars through a telescope and if you know where and when. Sometimes, if you know where to look and are careful,  you can catch Mercury.

Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...

It doesn't what?

25
Flat Earth Q&A / Re: Honestly...
« on: August 23, 2007, 08:30:03 AM »
It also make me wonder too how FEer's explain solar and lunar eclipses.  And if the sun is only 32 miles in circum.  then how does it produce enough heat to make the summer months as hot as it does in some places??

26
Flat Earth Q&A / Honestly...
« on: August 23, 2007, 08:17:27 AM »
Honestly, you all would have me believing in FE if it were not for a few problems I can't understand.  Like your explanation of the make-up of space including the sun, moon, stars, and especially your theory of universal acceleration.  And I can't fathom your idea of a conspiracy.  I know your claim that money is the motive, but not everyone is motivated by money and you'd have to have a ton of people to pull this off.

Anyways...just wanted to start a discussion because I don't see anything else interesting going on so far today.

very true a great place to start.  it creates more questions that lead to more research leading to less people asking stupid questions like i did when i first got here
haha
