Flat Earth Debate / What is the Universal Accelerator?
« on: November 13, 2015, 04:04:18 PM »
What object is capable of emitting a constant bombardment of particles towards the flat earth, or everything, depending on models. How does this object function? What does it emit? Where is the energy coming from?
As most FE'rs seem to use an argument such as this to defend their theories, I hold them to the same standard.

The Lounge / Neutral
« on: November 06, 2015, 05:59:56 PM »
I have made a decision to become a neutral at this subject. I am not convinced in either way, for all intensive purposes. This extends to everything I post on the site. So, if I may, I wish for you to forget all I have said to any of you.

Treat me as you did Yendor at a point.
Things got dull, I suppose.

Technology, Science & Alt Science / The Library of Babel
« on: September 26, 2015, 06:30:04 AM »
https://libraryofbabel.info/
Look something up on there, and they have it in many books.
It has every conversation on this website, and every conversation not on this website.
It has your death date, and everyone else's.
Spooky, right?

The Lounge / "Persona Management Software"
« on: September 14, 2015, 09:40:43 AM »
Here's what comes up when you look to find such software, Papa Legba (I am aware that at the time of posting he is banned).
https://www.google.com/search?q=persona+management+software&oq=persona+manage&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57j0l4.2891j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8#q=persona+management+software+download

Here's the top results: VMWare, a completely unrelated topic. The rest are of actual government propaganda and conspiracy. We all see how well that turned out, as a note.

Technology, Science & Alt Science / Java & Game Development
« on: September 09, 2015, 09:43:51 AM »
What is you guys opinion on Java? I find it to be a useful language for making games, especially mod-enabled games.
Do any of you use it?

Flat Earth Debate / "There is no sunset"
« on: August 24, 2015, 12:44:30 PM »

Do mirrors melt when sunlight is reflected off them onto another area?
Mirrors aren't made of ice.

Have you worked out how a sunset could occur under an ice dome yet?
There is no sunset.

Care to elaborate, scepti?

Flat Earth Debate / Light is Sound Debunked
« on: August 15, 2015, 10:31:58 AM »
All objects glow in infrared. When hot enough, they glow a dim red.
This means, that if light is a vibration when caused by heat, so is infrared.
This would imply all EM radiation is a vibration. Which completely destroys this, as radio broadcast towers don't seem to shake 24/7.

Technology, Science & Alt Science / The Windows 10 Thread
« on: August 03, 2015, 05:10:57 PM »
I just got Windows 10, and I've been really liking it so far.

What are your thoughts on it?

I'm just waiting for plugins on Edge, for Adblock and BingtoGoogle for Cortana, and I'm set. No need for Chrome for Firefox.
(Wow, using IE for anything. Wow.)

Also, the JS on this site is so outdated, it doesn't work on Edge.

Flat Earth Debate / Apparently Light=Sound now
« on: August 01, 2015, 12:04:23 PM »
(NOTE: This was typed on my phone. Mind my punctuation or grammar.)
Scepti has recently made up a new idea. Light is caused by vibrations. I'm going to point out the flaws in this idea.
First off, no evidence. All he said when asked for experiments was "plenty", with no documentation of them.
He never gave any details. What sound frequency and volume produces cosmic radiation? X-Rays? Gamma Rays?
Radar. Radar counts on light not being instant. Sonar/Echolocation also requires sound taking time to work. Echoes in general, actually.
What sound does my phone make? It makes light waves and radio waves and microwaves.
Nuclear reactors? Gamma radiation? It must've been loud and noisy for years after Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Suggestions & Concerns / Another DDoS?
« on: July 04, 2015, 07:49:33 AM »
The site's database has been malfunctioning lately. And check out that guest count. I think the DDoS is back.

Technology, Science & Alt Science / Malware Tester
« on: June 24, 2015, 10:21:49 AM »
I test malware both for fun and for helping to make a program that is meant to be sold on a USB/Disc or a portable jar file(for all platforms). Does anyone have any interesting stories about malware? These types of things help me with things to find new features to add to it. Specifically, things that required you to buy a new computer or format your drive and reinstall.

Seriously, the only warning EJ has gotten, visibly, is personal attacks. How about low-content posting? Troll threads are everywhere, and it takes days for them to go to CN. If the mods are spread so thin, use priorities.

13
Seriously. FErs always associate RE with all of space, every single theory about it, and all of space travel. Why is it that FErs get their own little bubble and never have to go farther than conspiracy and new basic forces nobody has heard of before, but every mistake of of the million scientists apparently disproved a round earth?

I apologize for any grammatical mistakes or spelling errors. This is from my phone.

Suggestions & Concerns / Permanently Banning Trolls
« on: May 16, 2015, 10:30:24 AM »
Its obvious that temporarily banning trolls is not helping. We ban Truth Seeker, and he comes back. A troll is not going to learn their lesson. No amount of punishment is going to solve it, so just get them gone and out of our sight.

Flat Earth Debate / Rust Disproves A Lack of Air
« on: May 15, 2015, 01:14:15 PM »
Iron oxide, or rust, is created when water, an electrolyte, oxygen and iron come into contact. Please explain to me how these brand new oxygen atoms are created, great and wise Jrowe.

EDIT: Typo.

Flat Earth General / Misero's Flat Earth Challenge!
« on: May 09, 2015, 10:25:54 AM »
My challenge for you is to prove flat earth theory to the community.

How is the winner going to be determined? The answer is a poll. And I'm going to be using an off-site thing to try and discourage some trolls. I will not be deciding it, as it is obvious from the Heiwa challenge that this does not work. Once you have created a thread in the FEG forum titled "I won Misero's FE Challenge". Once the community has decided that it meets the guidelines, you win.

Guidelines:
  • You must use the commonly accepted laws of physics. If you need to break a law of physics, you must prove it wrong.
  • You must use math or experiments to prove or disprove anything.
  • All variables and constants must be defined in said math.
  • You may revise your math, but please add an edit log to your post for ease of judgement.

Suggestions & Concerns / The Absolute Uselessness of the Wiki
« on: May 08, 2015, 03:55:02 PM »
Either we need to start documenting everything in the FEIR on the wiki, or we should just save the disk space on the server for some other page.  I know you say on it that it does not reflect all opinions, but why is it a good thing to give Hodge-podge of all standard FE theories(Meaning, not DET or IET) to every new FE'r or RE'r? If you honestly want everyone to be told about the FE hypotheses, link the to the FEIR.

Philosophy, Religion & Society / Another Reason to hate ISIS
« on: April 25, 2015, 09:36:17 AM »
Isis was the ancient egyptian god of motherhood, children, generally good things. Now when you say Isis you think of terrorists.
Reminds me of the swastika. Swastikas are good, but now they mean "Nazi".

Suggestions & Concerns / Moderators doing nothing?
« on: April 23, 2015, 02:51:01 PM »
I can name a few moderators who do absolutely nothing relating to their jobs. Or, anything in the upper fora. I've only ever seen gotham post in CN or AR.

Technology, Science & Alt Science / What IS Heiwa Co?
« on: April 17, 2015, 02:50:16 PM »
Heiwa Corporation is based out of Japan and sells pachinko machines. If Heiwa's company is not called Heiwa Corportation, what is it?

Suggestions & Concerns / Ban The Truth Seeker
« on: April 15, 2015, 01:49:58 PM »
cause it didnt make no sense...
TLDR; It made sense. Or does using double negatives in English still make it negative?

does the horizen sink?
Did you just drop acid? I kinda have a feeling.

did you get payd for insulting a me a truth seeker? i kinda hav a feeling get life kid dont hav time for no torll...
I suppose this is enough to constitute a ban? There's more, a thread full.

Suggestions & Concerns / Why Arguments from the Bible are Low-Content
« on: April 14, 2015, 02:44:25 PM »
If you were to say something about satan, quote the bible, and say it's proof, that proves nothing, cannot be debated, and is a waste of a post. These posts belong in PR&S. The bible is not universally accepted as fact, the points there cannot be debated without being racist in some form, and they have no scientific evidence to support them.

Therefore, the are low-content.

Flat Earth General / How Exactly does sound work with no air?
« on: April 10, 2015, 12:36:55 PM »
And no, aether does not transmit it. Space does not bend when you speak. Speakers must be space-bending devices, then.

Sound is created when the air blowing out of your mouth in a certain fashion vibrates the air next to that air, and the air next to that, etc. until it gets to your ear.

So, how exactly does sound work with no air.

The Lounge / Guys, I think he's gone for good.
« on: April 02, 2015, 07:28:02 AM »
Could scepti actually be gone forever? I hope so.

25
Flat Earth Debate / Space Running Out?
« on: April 01, 2015, 07:16:07 AM »
Obviously, unless aether is in violation of every single law of physics, there must be a limited supply of it, and one day it will all be matter, if it turns into matter in low pressure zones(?), will it not one day run out? Where will the matter go if there is no space?

Suggestions & Concerns / JRowe's Free Reign
« on: March 30, 2015, 12:49:08 PM »
JRowe, lately, has been breaking down and cursing with all these personal attacks. At this point he needs a ban.

Suggestions & Concerns / "Guest"?
« on: March 28, 2015, 09:56:10 AM »
I notice posts by Th*rk, and some old people when looking around the 255'th page of FE Debate, what does this mean? Is it them quitting the forum?

28
Flat Earth General / Use Of The Word "Theory"
« on: March 27, 2015, 12:59:23 PM »
FE is not a theory, aether is not a theory, anything not proven by experiment/math is not a theory. Anything that cannot be testing by an experiment/math is a notion, generally though of as false until proven otherwise. You can't call something that you just came up with as a band-aid to your sinking ship of FE cannot be considered a theory, it's usually a notion, or a hypothesis that will never be tested.

Flat Earth Debate / Auroras Prove Air exists
« on: March 26, 2015, 12:16:24 PM »
Auroras are caused by the gas in the air turning into a plasma temporarily due to magnetic fields emitted by the sun. And auroras do exist, I saw some on St. Patrick's Day. (Nice sense of humor, nature, green auroras on St. Patrick's Day.). Aether does not glow, no matter what you say. You cannot create a property for aether simply to explain something. It does not refract the sun, that's not how refraction works, from white light to only green light.

Flat Earth General / I don't understand it=/=Lie
« on: March 23, 2015, 06:11:50 PM »
Why is it that FE'rs tend to instantly call things that they don't fully understand, instead of researching it, instantly call it lies? Yes, I know you can't comprehend how far the Voyager went, simple logic doesn't always apply to complicated things.
