gravity only exists if you believe it exists.

"What things?"

Most things about it.  It is apparent that it began not with calculations and observations, but began with the idea that the earth is flat.  The calculations and observations then had to be forced into place.

Spherical earth is the superior theory.  It just makes more sense, and there is still room to learn.. there are still things that we don't know.  That is what makes it more real, anytime anyone claims to "know everything" and sets up a force field to not let out or in any information pertaining to their "theory", that's when you know you are dealing with an egotistical fanatic who cannot let go of the belief, in which they have invested so much of themselves.

Gravity is indistinguishable from acceleration.  That's what allows us to have the earth accelerating.

Einstein thought planets were spheres.  If you're gonna use Einstein, use the whole thing.  Can't you see yourself nitpicking information to build your case, taking what you like and leaving what you don't?

Spacetime, etc... what about all that?

Did it just so happen that Einstein was wrong about everything you think is wrong, and right about everything you think is right?  How convenient, just like the edges of the earth being guarded.

Einstein also thought Quantum Mechanics was wrong.

refer to edit.  QM is a whole different world entirely.  We are talking about planets, and Einsteins work has been the defining work on planets.  He wasn't wrong about it because he never said anything about it, he was simply aghast that just as he seemed to be coming to the end of his theory, this new crevice of reality pops up, and didn't want to accept the fact that it did, because he had invested his life in his belief system.

Just like you.

I didn't say Einstein was wrong about anything, except QM.

Well, you are saying he was wrong about planets being spheres,.

Oh, so planets are spheres?  But the earth isn't?

Oh my.. so The Earth is the only planet we have ever come across that is shaped like a cylinder.... is that what you think?  And we just happen to be stuck on it with no satellites and can't go into orbit to gain an outside perspective of ourselves... ??

Wow.

Don't you think a cylindrical planet wouldn't work properly in a system full of sphericals?

Why would our planet be the only cylindrical one?

So do orbits exist on spherical planets?

Just because the earth is gravitationally neutral, doesn't mean everyother body is.

So spherical planets have orbits about them then?

They could?  And that's why they "could" have moons orbiting about them, like the moons we can see orbiting the spherical planets using telescopes here on earth?  Or are telescopes a conspiracy as well?

So if other planets are spheres, and their moons orbit them, why would you have any reason to believe that The Earth is any different?  Even if satellites didn't exist (which they do... sorry to say) and humans had never been into space, just looking outwards at the rest of the universe, we can look at other planets to understand ours.

You make no sense, are you religious?  That would explain a lot.

Most Flat Earthers are Atheists.

At least this new member kept all of their questions in one topic, instead of making 40 different topics all asking questions that are answered in the FAQ. Although they could have avoided making even one topic if they simply read the FAQ first, or used the Search function.
