Anyone else watching? I've only got a few more eps to go, but so far it is really weird and fun. I never played the game, so I didn't know what to expect.
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

I binge watched the entire thing a few days ago when I couldn't sleep.  I'm someone who is very familiar with the source material.

The series is... good.  Not quite great.  They do a lot of things that just don't quite work.  Like the humor with Lucy fucking her cousins and the ghoul trying to sell her to the organ harvesters.  But they did a great job staying true to the games and the guy from the Shield is crushing it as the ghoul.

Did you watch 3 Body Problem? Fallout is refreshingly fun compared to that show! It was good, though.

I'm also enjoying it currently. I've only played the silly little mini game for it that's a vault making game. Pretty good show so far.

I started watching the first episode of the three body problem.  I was worried that its the kind of show that I would have to watch an entire season before I could tell if its good or not.  So I did something that was probably unwise.  I read the synopsis of the source material on Wikipedia.  It seems really interesting but now I'm worried I ruined the show for myself.

I think you will still enjoy it. I've watched some reviews by people who were big fans of the books, and they seemed to think it was a good show.

The hardest part about watching it, for me, is that I have been a Star Trek fan for so long. Star Trek is very optimistic about aliens! 3 Body Problem is probably more realistic about how aliens would view humans.

I've been loving it.  Didn't think I would, but I do!

Thinking back on it now I think the biggest problem is the first episode and the last episode. They don't make any sense next to each other. The writers really needed to run a second draft after they added more clarity to Moldaver's character.

There are a lot of plot holes, but it was a fun ride. Like, why didn't everyones pipboys go nuts as soon as they opened the door with all the irradiated raiders?

There's actually an explanation for that.  Every computer in fallout is based on vacuum tubes which are inherently radiation and emp resistant.  How that can fit that many vacuum tubes on one's wrist is a matter of suspension of disbelief.

Sure, but pipboys have a radmeter on the outside of the device. I believe its used in the show once or twice.
