Any of you FE people ever used Google Earth?
« on: January 28, 2007, 02:01:25 PM »
Don't tell me those images are fake because I've actually found my home and place of employment on there...right where I thought they should be on a round Earth.

The images shown by Google Earth are entirely two-dimensional.

Up close but back and move around the Earth.

And according to your FAQ's, satellites don't exist yet I'm seeing satellite images of my home. Are you saying they took all these images from radio towers?

Google Earth is a computer program.

It could be manipulated to show the earth is a figure 8.

Google Earth is not proof of RE.

No, he is not.  Google gets its images from aircraft and the US government.

Common questions about Google Earth

1. When were these pictures taken? How often are they updated?

Our images are photographs taken by satellites and aircraft sometime in the last three years.  The images in Google Earth are updated on a rolling basis.

It clearly said both satellites and airplanes, not just airplanes.

So then if the ISS and other satellites don't really exist, then they must take those images from the radio towers where it says satellites. But that would either mean that there is a ton of invisible planes flying around, or there are invisible radio towers that we never seen to run into on every part of the earth.

Explain.

Google gets its 'satellite' images from the government.  The government can get them from any source they want, be it stratellites or aircraft, package them up to be from a 'genuine satellite', and google would never be the wiser.

Like I said, where are all of these planes? They must be filling up the sky to keep up with Google's claim of keeping them constantly up to date. But I don't see them.

So if there are no planes, then where are all the radio towers that must be doing the dirty work? They must cover enough land space to produce the images and composition that Google Earth has, yet I don't see them.

So please, explain.

I'll just repeat myself until you answer the question, not give a pseudo-answer...

Google Earth is not real time.  They try to update their pictures once every three years.  What claim are you talking about?

4) Grew up in the country; were taught to read and write by their
Momma and Poppa; heard about some crazy new preacher coming to
town, crying that the world is flat; then conducting some "experiments"
in their backyard using the piles of scrapped automobiles left lying around.

Dude look at Google Earth, find Narrows Bridge.

If it was up to date there would be a whole mess of construction due to shit heads in California funding a second bridge for no reason other then to line their pockets with Washington Toll money. You won't find any sign of construction at all will you?

1) TV makes no mention to the shape of the world directly. Infact indirect mention is rare and far between.

2) The newspaper never stated that the world was round.

3) I prefer home schooling over going to a school where I could get shot for no reason other then some brat was pissed off at the world.

read the engineers post. So much for staying up to date. Google even says on their site its three years old. But don't worry. 5 years from now we might have live satellite images.

That will never happen. Even if satellites were possible, it would take billions of them to pull that off.

We seem to have another confession by someone who was taught
science by their parents as opposed to someone who has actually
attended a university.

Any other flat earthers ready to confess?
