I specifically wanted to know the model name, as Cessna did not make a 176.

ok. doesn't change the fact that he's a pilot.

A pilot knows what type of aircraft he flies.  It's kind of important.

I'm not a pilot

said pilot is not actually standing next to me at the moment

I'm going off the conversation I had with him, I do not remember word for word what he says about his plane. like I said, its a pissing contest. I've got a licensed pilot telling me one thing and a random guy on a message board telling me I have imaginary friends

not worth arguing

because I JUST talked to one to assure that my statement was correct

Short memory, huh?

yes, very short

you're going nowhere with this argument..... I can see why you're so vehement about arguing the earth is flat, when it is not. because you also like to argue that I didn't speak to a pilot, when I did

does the sky not refract light in a blueish fashion on most occasions?

I cling to Hall of Famers at D1A as fact.

I am an aerospace engineer, and let me tell you planes dont actually fly at all, they repel earth which causes an inherant negative stability in the controlls. planes cant fly in staight lines, Helicopters are a differnt story the gyroscopic precession they create must be countered by the tail rotor, which in turn creats a sidways slip from the thrust, but i think the pilots are still in on it, which explains why the act so strange..

A) I trust him far more than you.

B) Logically, while I'm no pilot, what you say makes far less sense than the points TheEngineer is bringing up.

C) You've lost even more credibility by refusing to concede to the point that you've obviously lost at.

I'm going to trust that you are an engineer simply because of the spelling errors.  Tell me more about this straight line thing, though, it sounds interesting.
