Lets assume for a moment Mr Butt becomes President

How will an openly gay man be welcomed in places in the Middle East like Saudi Arabia where they punish homosexualty by blindfolding the person and throwing them off a rooftop? You have to respect the laws of the land. So will the king open his palace to him and his partner? Will they be allowed to share a room?

On one hand, having Mr Butt should nab every gay persons vote. And every liberal and every celeb who wants to take a selfie as they drop in their vote to virtue signal their love for gays

On the other hand, if could incense the republicans and even many democrats who forgot the entire point of Jesus's coming and let hate rule their lives and vote against him

At this point though, America would do better with an empty chair than Trump so whoever wins the nomination be it Sanders, Butt or even Putin (ok maybe not that guy), America will be better off

I could be wrong but I don't think that the gay thing will be much of an issue.  Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but I think this country has come a long way.

I'm mistrustful of him because he never talks about his plans.  It's all advertising his intelligence.

I didn't even think of the middle East issues....that is a good damn question. If he were president of a small country they wouldn't even let him enter...the president of the US, they probably would. However, their would be a complete loss of respect and many other things there.

Unfortunately I think it would play a bigger role than you think unfortunately. It would bring out the vote of those that aren't quite by traditional sense or outspoken homophobic...however they wouldn't want a gay man to do this or that.
