ummm id say the only thing that has failed is them trying to debunk a spinning globe. I just dont understand why every experiment a flat earther does fails to prove a flat earth, the only way to get the results they get to try prove it is a flat earth and theres no curve is something a child would do and when they still cant get the answer either dismiss it entirely or fudge the numbers to make it work.

take this "The earth spins at 1,040 miles per hour" you lot are adamant that is fast. its not. the concorde's cruising speed was 1300 miles per hour yet i highly doubt every single person was glued to there seats for the whole duration of the trip. Boeing is building a hypersonic jet set to be in service by 2030 that travels at 4000 miles per hour, yet 1000 mph is to fast! makes no sense.

even ancient egyptians 1000's of years ago knew the earth was spherical.

also when they say Neil degrasse tyson and Brian Cox wont debate a flat earther isnt because they dont have the answers, its because they are sick and tired of answering the same idiotic questions every time and those questions never change. Brian Cox did a series on science and did a sun chase in a fighter jet.
He told us all about how the jet had matched the rotation of the Earth and rendered the sun still due to this supposed Earth rotation match.

No matter which way this is dressed up from this point, Brian Cox and co pout a massive foot in their own big gobs.

Why?
Because the argument has always been that anything flying in atmosphere will be carried by it and cannot negate it, which is why people get told they don't see the Earth moving under them in a hovering helicopter.

This alone shows the Earth being a globe is nonsense.
The problem is, when people get pulled up on this they try like hell to offer an excuse. There is no excuse except to show a flattish stationary Earth with the moving sun reflection being chased by the jet to match it's observed motion.

well when your on a plane everything on it is travelling with it. if you throw something up in the air it doesnt fly to the back of the aircraft. if you put it on a string attached to the roof it doesnt move from the center unless a force is acted up on it like a turn or big change in acceleration or deceleration.

ok lets take something really simple. all roads are not straight. you could be travelling at 100mph down the motorway and your following it, it starts to curve to the right, lets say, you dont even feel that force on you. now then take a small roundabout, if your going slow enough you dont even feel that
