Most of the posts on this site are a flat/spherical discussion, and this can be quite disorienting, so I think we should all move the discussion to one central thread, preferably this one!

Okay, so the first posts should contain all the facts and evience for the Yes and No teams. Then we can all dissect and deconstruct them.

PS: I also posted a quick poll that's completely unrelated to anything. :D

Ehm... no, actually thats the continent of Antarctica. You can see South America, Africa, and Australia in this picture. You can even see the night lights in Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne in Australia, and Johanesberg in South Africa. Plus a lot of South American cities. Don't you think this appears to be more than a coincidence?

I have yet to see a skin-flake that shows the South Pole so precisely.
But then again - it might all be a conspiracy by the Girl Scout Association of America....          I think they're after me...

You never know on the flat-earthers forums. Someone even said that that in the centre of the Earthdisc, there is a giant volcano that the Earth spewed out from... :D

Interestingly enough, according to the Flat-Earthers map, this volcano would be located precisely at north-pole. Wouldn't the Scandinavians, Russians and Canadians have noticed a giant volcano by now?

Oh, and all the flatlings should go to that Scott-Armstong base located at the north pole. This base which is a couple of kays squared, should be thousands of miles long, and 150-feet high. That'd make scientific research at the base interesting, wouldn't it?

Serious or not, this entire forum is one giant joke and anybody wasting 1 nanosecond in trying to debate in serious or scientific terms I consider a moron. Period.

Try to have a good laugh, practice sarcasm, try to read between the lines, etc. That is fun, but debating and really meaning it only makes you look foolish, for chrisakes. Its like trying to debate with a terrorist that killing is wrong.

If you saw a women in a supermarket, blabbing on that the universe is geocentric, and that the girl-scouts are out to get her, wouldn't you at least try, to help? Sure, some slackos would try avoid her, but most of us would try to help.

Like usual, you're wrong.  People tend to build chimneys on top of their houses, not build house around chimneys.  And volcanoes are not made out of flat earth, they are actually more mountain shape.  Also volcanoes tend to occur around the edges of continental plates.

Now explain this to me.  You say there is a volcano in the middle of the Earth Disc.  Volcanoes occur on the edges of continental plates.  Thereby implying that in your distorted view of the world, plate tectonics still plays a significant role.  But if the continental plates can shift freely on a large flat surface, what is keeping them from falling of the edges?

It would be nice to prove the earth is round with a simple image, but the image of Antarctica you have presented is not very solid.
Don't get me wrong, I also believe the earth is round, but there are some flaws in your argument.
The image you have shown is from http: //www.coolantarctica.com/ . On that page itself it notes that it is a "Composite image". It's also very easy to see that it is not a natural true image as one: there are no clouds and two: the entire southern hemisphere is enveloped in night. The first point being extremely rare and the second point reaching impossibility.
The reason I am picking apart your evidence is because it is already very easy to say it is a mostly falsified image, so it's just as easy for someone to say it is a completely false image.
You need to have a stronger argument.
