Even if the X-plane project was part of the conspiracy, the sheer numbers of people involved would make it nearly impossible to keep under wraps. When you include your icewall guards, pilots and aircrew, manufactures of windows that make things look curved, the scientists and astronomers, ground crew for the fake satellite vehicles, photoshoppers for NASA, and the admin staff for ALL of the said people, thats a major part of the population involved. There is absolutely no way that kind of a secret would be kept under wraps.

The term 'need to know' isn't just a movie slogan- its a golden rule of keeping operational security. People talk. Whether its to their wives, to their buddies when they've had a few, or to an agent of an FIS. The way to stop this is, obviously, to keep the number of people involved to an absolute minimum.

Unless, of course, the conspiracy doesn't exist. Then you wouldn't have to worry about evidence of a non-existent conspiracy getting out.

Actually, the RE'ers conceeded that Scaled Composites is a government contractor.  As I said before, you might as well give us video from NASA...

The point is that it is impossible to either prove or disprove the conspiracy. Let me refer you to this thread where the "problem" with the conspiracy is.

lol.  I love how REers take everything in the world as literal.  Everybody always says exactly what they mean.  There is no depth to human interaction at all.  I bet all the REers hate politics, or have very simple, naive views of it.

Well the flat earthers have yet again, ingored the topic. I suppose they will let it slip down the page, where upon Erasmus will delete it an then say how we REers never provide evidence.

See what I mean? No replies. REers win again. Although, as we 'won' several hundred years ago this victory is a little hollow.

Did you miss the part about the conspiracy?  I'm sure you didn't, though.  In that case -- and I warn you that sarcasm is about to follow -- please go on and on about how "dumb" the conspiracy is, how you've never read anything about it, how you were taught this and that in school, and how there is no evidence to support it.  Then someone will ask you to prove the RE model, implying that there is no proof.  Then you will say "stop avoiding the issue."

Here is the deal:  There is no proof saying the Earth is flat, and there is no proof saying the Earth is round that is not made null by the conspiracy.  Does anyone disagree?

It's like you are riding one of those shitty rickety roller coasters that beats the hell out of you, but instead of getting off at the end you simply complain about how shitty it was and ride it again.  That is where your arguments are going.  You all end up right back where you were, except with bruises.

It would depend on the results of the experiment.

And no, I haven't. As I believe most every FE and DA on this site is already aware of it.

Coupla things:

1) Is that a joint (or marijuana cigarette) in the palm of your avatar?

2) What is DA?

3) No one on Earth has ever performed this experiment?

Edit: oh no, wait.  It's a sword in the hand.

Devil's Advocate.  You see it in debates all the time; someone who does not necessarily believe the side they are arguing.

A Devil's Advocate. Someone who believes the Earth is round, yet argues in favor of the FE theory.

I'm thinking there are probably a few technical hurdles to your experiment that you may not have considered.

Though, I bet it is fun to hold this juicy Krispy Kreme doughnut of an experiment over our heads and watch us wiggle.

You can't say 'there is no proof that the earth is round', because there is proof that the earth is round. Just because the FEers say 'lol conspiracy' or 'look at the FAQ' (which provides a bunch of unbacked one-liners that don't prove Flat Earth at all) doesn't mean that it isn't proof - it's just proof that FEers refuse to accept.

Nope. If he's talking about the one I think he's talking about it's even simpler than that. It isn't so much an experiment as an observation.
