people like albert einstein, stephen hawking, and other people why havent they said the earth is flat? I understand that the earth is flat myself, but I dont understand why they havent had any history with a flat earth.

You can't "understand that the earth is flat" when it is in fact not flat.  The reason the smart people of history didn't talk about the earth being flat is because they know it is round.  Pretty simple.

I respectfully disagree.

I believe they didn’t care about the shape of the earth at all. That was never the premise of their thinking process. They didn’t go “earth is round because my math says so” ... instead they said “gravity works like this according to my math”

It’s a nuance but an important one to distinguish said people from the eleventy thousand self proclaimed YouTube scientists.

Perhaps you just don't understand the shape of the earth but think you do?  How do you know they haven't had any history or consideration of a "flat earth" or any other shape?

Considering  their calculation assumed the earth was round because duh! it was, and their calculations have proven correct over the decades, I think they had more than a passing aquintance with the shape of the earth. It just never occured to them that some people would be so blind to reality they wouldninsist the earth was anything other than an oblate spheriod.

Because they're dead.

I think he was reffering to mention of it, the flat earth, during their life time, while they were alive! The answer is quite simple, no mention was ever made as its not flat. The whole notion of people believing in a flat earth is a result of a disease of the mind spread through the internet. The gullible and ill educated are most most at risk. Evidence for this can be gained from reading what they post.

It's simple. At the time due to things such as the moon landing which convinced a lot of people that the earth was a sphere they feared that their ideas would be rejected, so they didn't release this knowledge to the public.

Einstein was already the most revered physicist of his time before the first human craft capable of  getting into orbit was even dreamed off. If he had said the earth was flat if he had thought so, everyone would have reviewed all of humanity's scientific achievement before that time to see if he was correct of not. He was also very dead as at the time of the moon landings and so could not have been afraid of public opinion.

Fact is Einstein knew the earth was a heliocentric sphere as his theories on gravity show that very well. He saw gravity as a bending of spacetime created by the masses of bodies hanging in said space time.

It is interesting how flat earyhers keep sayin “we are told from birth the earth is round” when in reality all the theories and observations that point to, describe and show a spherical earth is available for anyone to review. If Einstein said the earth was flat, the scientific community would have said “prove it”. If he submitted his proofs, they would have reviewed it. By “they”, I don't mean some hidden faceless group as flat earthers seem to think. I mean hundreds of thousands of science students, lecturers and practitioners all over the world. They would have examined Einstein's statements (as they did regarding his theories)  and if he was found to be right, we would all be teaching flat earth right now. If he was found to be wrong, that's a lot of crow fella would have been made to eat.

Einstein KNEW the earth was a sphere as it is in truth.

No. He ASSUMED. And he was still wrong. e=mc2 works in limited applications. It is not a constant and it is not a universal law.

The experiment was extremely limited in scope and was biased to get answers they expected so obviously leaned only to a pre determined answer.

I am not surprised that you disagree with something in which the evidence clearly suggests otherwise.

When a kid loses it and shoots up a school....almost 100% of the time you find that that kid was surrounded by bullshit (self-inflicted or otherwise)

When a parent loses it and kills their kids...it isn't because they wake up every morning not dealing with bullshit.

When a "disgruntled employee" loses it and shoots up their work place, it isn't because they are super happy with their life.  It is most likely because of some "bullshit" in some form or another.

Stress, which is generally caused by one's perception of "bullshit", is one of the leading causes of severe mental disorders as well as fatal health problems.

Your response was also bullshit.

Every kid that has shot up a school (at least in the US) has their life dissected by the media.  In literally (almost) every case, the kid who does so has had some level of bullshit they were dealing with, either at the time, or chronically.  Like I said, these things are well documented.  Interviews, police reports, physical evidence found..etc.  All day, the evidence doesn't agree with your assessment.
