Guess what? Most of us would agree with you.  But there are 2 advantages to this site:

1. Advocacy training, that is being able to defend a position that you do not normally agree with makes you more tolerant of others.

2. Out of the box thinking.  There are some crazy as frak ideas that get thrown around when this place is in a good time.  Thoughts are provoked, and people are encouraged to do independent research.

When you assholes come in and ruin it, it doesn't make it fun, it just makes you a troll and a tool.  So.  If you don't want to play, fine; but if you do, you play here by the rules, and you play here for the benefit of us, or you don't play here.  Maybe eventually, you will become a contributing member and will enjoy this.  Maybe not.  But honestly, the fact that the mods and other members of this community tolerate you asshats for so long is truly amazing.

You may not notice, as you must not have looked very far, but we get threads and posts such as your on an (almost) hourly basis.

So, are you making this an enjoyable place?  No.
Are you encouraging civil, deliberate conversation? No.
Why are you here?  To feel like a big man because you can say that the earth is round?  Do you honestly think that we care that you say the earth is round?  You are nothing.  The best you could have been was an intellectual being, capable of rational, civil discussion.  But you have proved yourself below this.

I'm intellectual and capable of rational discussion. But when I come up with stuck up minds like FEers, I can't control myself.
