I cant even describe to you how bad this video is in an attempt to prove a flat earth.  I know this area pretty well and its laughable or more pathetic i guess.

So, tell me. Why do you believe the earth to be round?

Wow, where do I start.  Well, proof is pretty much everywhere.  Sunrise, sunset, moon phases, satellite imagery, I can see the ISS from my rooftop as it orbits, astronauts, tidal flows, flights to/from cities in the southern hemisphere, north star/southern cross, seasons, daytime, night time, time zones.  All of this is confirmed by the fact that not one scientist will tell you the earth is flat...think about that...NOT ONE.  I can come up with more reasons but im just spit balling at the easy ones.  Even in the attached video, the guy unknowingly proves the earth is flat IN HIS OWN VIDEO.  I mean, he is using GPS for gods sake.

GPS does not require a globe. Many of your other 'proofs' are just nouns.

How about you start with one, so we can discuss it.

Mr.Davis, I hate to say this,  but you are just making yourself sound like an idiot.

It would have to be me, if I am to sound like an idiot. It certainly isn't the facts or the globs.

It is not "believing" , as the flat earthers are fond of saying, but "knowing", as the round earthers say.LOL.

Sure; define for me "knowledge" then, so I can know what "knowing" means. I'm not entirely sure you understand science or empiricism.

"Knowing" the earth is round, like a globe.

Sounds like circular logic to me. Are you sure you don't want to clarify? That is indeed laughable. To say the least. I just want to know the criterion for knowing something.

GPS does require a globe, and requires satellites.  What do you think the G stands for?  Oh and my "nouns" are proofs.  Sunrise/sunset is proof the earth is round, seasons prove the earth is round, time zones as we know them, prove the earth is round.  Yes they are nouns but proof non the less.

Actually GPS does not require satellites, just accurate clocks. Nouns are not proofs, they are nouns.

Watch:  Plane.

Oh crap, did I just prove it was flat? No, because I'm not stupid.

Just explain how, on a flat earth, there is a flight from Santiago Chile to Sydney non stop.  How is that possible?  Facts only please

I'm still waiting on one reason why the earth is a globe.

But hey, its okay. Keep dodging. Its hard to see the truth for the first time.

A pilot gets his license, jumps into a plane, and flies from Santiago to Sydney. Maybe if you could state your actual argument, it would make things go a bit more quickly.

Within the receivers and transmitters. Where would you put them?

I would put them in satellites and orbit them around the earth.  How would you do it?  Easiest proof is the flight from Santiago to Sydney.  I know you know what i mean.  I dont care which flat earth map you use, its not possible and you know why

If I knew why, I wouldn't believe as I do. I wouldn't spend all my free time on forums like these, or doing interviews, or fighting the good fight. I'd be content to be right with the popular opinion.

I choose the non-euclidean map then, if it doesn't matter which flat earth map I use. Wilmore's map isn't a bad second choice. Other choices include the south centric flat earth map, the collapsing flat earth map, and the Greenville map.

I would put them with the receivers and transmitters. If I had an unlimited budget, I'd likely use pseudolites (you can find detailed engineering descriptions to these in the IEEE XPLOR database) to increase coverage. I'd probably use these in a caching sort of way, and be certain of the time it takes for them to talk to the system of record.

So, in other words, you believe in a flat earth but cant explain how to prove its flat.  I guess thats the difference between flat earths and normal people.  Flat earthers believe in something and dont know why, and normal people believe the earth is round because we have evidence of it.  Thanks for the help

Well, you imply it when you provide no evidence for your flat earth, what else are we normals to think

I guess its the small victories that count for flat earthers.  Ive always wanted to know, how does it smell inside your own ass?

Bold type above added by me....    I see this often in flat earth replies,  as  a distraction tactic.  Attacking or at least diffusing a coherent post by insisting it's broken down to its components.    Sneaky!

Its very difficult to have a conversation over a laundry list of topics; really for anything. By choosing a particular point to start, its possible to move through them one by one.

Maybe I should include distraction among the D's that flat earthers so commonly use.  Deflection (which I guess could be distraction), denial and delusion.
