A member from this site's golden age of yore, one Mrs. Peach, called me "Parsifal" one day. I liked it so much I adopted it as my username.
After the knight?

Yes. I don't remember what conversation prompted her to call me that.

What was your username before?

Robosteve, which was also based on something people started calling me, albeit on another forum before I joined this one.
I'm going to side with the white supremacists.

I was registered on a survivalist forum before I came here with the same name. I wanted to use "Maccabee" (which means "hammer" in Hebrew and was also a militia group that fought and won against the Greeks) over there but it was taken. So I decided to use my favorite Bible verse, Luke 22:36. I also wanted to convey that I understood the context surrounding the verse so I used "35-38."
The Bible doesn't support a flat earth.

Scripture, facts, science, stats, and logic is how I argue.

When I was younger I brainstormed writing a story about an undead cowboy from the wild west, cursed to roam the earth seeking vengeance against a witch who shot him in the back, leaving a wound that literally never heals.  (You can probably guess about how old I was and what life event I had recently endured...)

Anyway, he was to be named Sirius Clay, which in his condition would make him "Dead Sirius".  Which was of course a play on the term "Dead Serious".  Which kind of matches my boring deadpan tone.

Not sure why that came back to mind when I was signing up for this site though...

I like RocketSauce because of Tenacious D's unrefined use of the phrase, and putting it to song...

And no one seems to use it... so I don't have to add numbers to it... Although, I did have to suffice for "RocketSauced" on one game... Which still isn't bad because it offers a sense of... action/description... the act of getting rocketsauced...

I just looked up RocketSauce on Urban Dictionary... I'd say that is relatively accurate... I don't know about the whole reptile thing...

Well, most of the inspiration of it comes from a cartoon I watched as a kid, can't remember what it was called. Not that I particularly liked the show, but I thought that the name of one of the characters would be easy to modify.

Mine comes from a project in college where I fubared a hybrid rocket. It took off with such force, dwarfing the other students... however, just as quickly about a thousand feet or less brutally self destructing itself. Somehow Babyhighspeed come into play by joking around word play... eventually it became a running joke for when I would epically fuck something up in a dramatic way.

I have also used it on drag cars/motorcycles at times as well.
