Pretty stupid pilot.
Just lets think logically here:
On earth itself it doesn't matter if you live on a ball or on a pancake you always see curvature. even if earth was a rectangle, you wouldn't be able to see the edges from the position close to the earth.
The second fault here is that you observe everything with an angle of almost 180 degrees. Trying to capture that with a camera with such a small angle lens is just not possible. Not even when you are turning it around.

Are you stupid or something? Look how narrow the viewing-angle of the camera being used is. Do you expect to capture a curvature with it? Think before you act.

Though without knowing the date, there is no way of knowing it even was a true full moon. I can't see any problem on the Globe at all.

No I think he is trying to prove there is no curvature by using a camera with such a narrow view angle and by turning it around.
It's like zooming into a small detail of a circle in such a way that it looks straight and then go all the way around.

I think what he is trying to say is that he hasn't the slightest reason fo claiming that, other that "it looks flat",
so has to shout out loud, "Earth is actually flat!", in the hopes that you won't come back and ask for evidence.

I remember some instructions given to speakers, "When getting over a weak point SHOUT!
