Okay Flat Earthers, What's inside of this flat plate?
« on: September 21, 2016, 02:14:03 PM »
Since I feel like everybody has forgotten that there's layers inside earth, how would you explain Magma? What about the solid Iron and Nickel core in the middle, where's that? What about the Mesosphere that protects us from meteors, rays, ETC? I really want to see some answers to this...

we dont live on a plate and underneath the flat earth there are layers....... and there is a huge formation of iron and nickel and stuff underground that people mistake for being the center of a globe........

How thick is the Earth then? How far down is that iron/nickel layer of the plate?

How do you know it's there? Have you drilled to it and verified its existence? Or are there other methods you could describe as a scientist to infer the existence of those layers, with iron and nickel at the bottom? Also, it is all just exposed on the side of the disk? Like, could someone see all these layers if they just look from the side?

no they are plenty of credible people and people who rely on it as there jobs and i have met many paleontologist and meteriologist and seismatologit and what not they all have said that earth doesnt have to be a globe for that stuff to work........

a meteriologist???

I assume you mean meteorologist, but even then, what does weather prediction have anything to do with the internals of the earth???
I wonder how obnoxious I can make my signature?
Please give me ideas.

We are also seeing more geologists leaving the round Earth movement and joining the ranks of FET.

Before too long, other believers of the scientific method will follow in their footsteps over to flat Earth realization.

We await their arrival on the pathway of truth.

Yes they do, because certain weather patterns like hurricanes wouldn't work on a flat earth.

why? because you were given a explanation of how they work that involves a globe??

Because of the Coriolis effect. Which can be viewed in a kiddie pool if you experiment in both hemispheres. It also proves a toy d earth. The physics don't work in anyway earth.

I did an experiment about Coriolis effect and proves Coriolis effect  is not exist. The turning way is completely random and depend on which way you give it first speed or something effect it like wind .

the coriolis effect affects storms and toilets too.. the same direction every time depending on which hemisphere you're in

that's NOT random, try making your water go down the drain in another direction

the coriolis effect DOES exist, it's not a fact that can be disputed

No because everyone who told us already knew Earth was a globe in the first place and told us without involving it.

John, the coruolisneffect is too weak to move water in something so small as a toilet bowl. The shape of the toilet bowl has much More to do with Ian the Coriolis effect.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing some answers to the OP's question. Not because I want to dispute it necessarily. I'd just like to get some details on this flat earth model everyone keeps yapping about but no one wants to lay out in detail beyond some generalities. And please don't cop out saying there are many theories. Note that the round earth has 1 - count it - theory.

Anyway, until I hear better I'm going with the idea that the earth sits on top of a big turtle.

Intikam, your coriolis effect experiment must be flawed then. Do this experiment - run water into your bathtub. Then pull the plug. Note which way the water spins. Repeat this several times, each time noting which way the water spins as it goes down the drain. You can even stick your finger in the drain and spin it the opposite way, and soon it will return back to its original direction of spin.
South of the equator the water will spin in the opposite direction.
Also, tornados and hurricanes all spin the same direction. The same direction as the water draining in your tub! Every single time.

Guy, the Coriolis effect is too weak to do this, as a bathtub full of water is to small to be affected. It would be more influenced by the shape of your tub.

You're only assuming it. I'm telling you, try it for yourself and see! Down your sink, tub, whatever. When you pull the plug and the water begins to swirl at the drain, note the rotation. It's got nothing to do with the shape of the vessel.
A toilet on the other hand is different. The way they're constructed forces water to come out from under the rim and spins the water & waste matter, and the jet of water at the bottom pushes it on down its way.
This is something you can observe at home. Do it yourself then come back and argue.

Seriously, it has been studied by round earth scientists and they say the same. It's even on Snopes http://www.snopes.com/science/coriolis.asp  It's just not powerful enough to change the direction your sink/tub drains. It's all down to the a shape of the sink, and the drain, and the direction the water is moving from the sink being filled. You would have to have a perfectly even vessel, fill it with water, allow it to sit for weeks (maybe months) to get the water to actually be influenced by the Coriolis Effect.

I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Actually he's right. The Coriolis can't affect small bodies of water like bathtubs. If the water was absolutely still then yes but you don't get that in a normal bathtub under normal conditions.
The Bible doesn't support a flat earth.

Scripture, facts, science, stats, and logic is how I argue.

Look at these:

This was not produced by lava. Ancient tunnels all over Galápagos.
There must be something down there. I suspect it involves Antarctica, and that's why researchers go there all the time.

I keep looking at that top picture and it REALLY looks like a lava tube to me (I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so... yeah). The bottom one I dunno. But that top one looks like there was a lava flow on the bottom that solidified.
