Ok, so as far as the Perseid shower goes it's either an insane coincidence that every year we pass a different celestial object and pass through it's debris field, ( then I assume we witness them bounce/burn off the dome), it's I don't know let's throw global warming in there ( you know, for the fun of it), or it's The Mexicans. Those appear to be the answers. Let's move on from this because I would love to hear what kind of awesome reasons I get for the coming and going of the tides.
