The subtitles have nothing to do with what they are discussing. The message in the subtitles is clear, it's saying that the entire flat earth is a psychological operation and they are making fun of people that believe it.

If I was a flat earther, I would be insulted and annoyed by the video,  I wouldn't like people laughing at my views.   Or the idea that I was being controlled somehow.

That's not dishonest, people put video's with pictures that don't match the words all the time, even music video's with lyrics don't match completely sometimes. Mistakes are not dishonest, what is being said can only be dishonest. Have you ever left the house with mismatched socks, did you think you were being dishonest about it?

Even a video that purposely shows the sky while talking about life on earth is not being dishonest, that's irrational to think a back ground is intentionally lying to you.
